Jodie slays in all her roles, and One Night is just another level, Jodie was phenomenal and the show is so incredible. And miss her as the Doctor!

Whittaker is up there with Capaldi, Smith, Pertwee, McCoy and Tom Baker as a defining fantastic Doctor her vibe and energy and beacon of hope shines so bright she's a fave I love her just presence right here was what I needed today so lovely my timelord 💙💙🌈✨

I saw one night a couple of weeks ago and literally haven’t stopped thinking about it since, Jodie is SO amazing in her role I need to do a rewatch just to have another gut punch from her acting 😍😍

@@pastorbri and yet we've had 4 specials, have another 2 seasons, and a Christmas special filmed/filming to come and RTD has said they have a 5 season funding deal with Disney... so do you just enjoy being objectively wrong on public platforms for all to see?

She's an absolute gem and a mad lass 😋 Just when I think she's done every tough role, she always ups the stakes with an even tougher role.

You could argue that the Doctor being a man is important due to the fact he’s the antithesis of a typical male protagonist and hero, so making him a woman is not only null and void but removes that important aspect of the character

​@@rangedlimethe Doctor being a man is not integral to the role. What is so masculine about the Doctor? If anything, the Doctor is the opposite to the general male protagonist, with the lack muscle and action packed fighting. Most incarnations of the Doctor are not that.

@@rangedlime They've had time ladies in the past on doctor who like Susan Foreman both Romana's the Rani River song and Missy. But Jodie was the first actress to play the first female doctor. I don't have a problem with it

Great interview - it’s such a shame that Jodie Whittaker wasn’t allowed to play the Doctor like this, it would have livened up 3 very underwhelming seasons 😢

Not happy now Dr Who has gone onto a streaming platform…now people have to pay to watch tv …..unfortunately this is how the tv industry is heading 🇦🇺🇦🇺

@@waddon1The 3 specials marking the 60th Anniversary which precede the 14th Series with the new Doctor played by Ncuti Gatwa is being released by Disney+..internationally…the BBC and Disney Branded Television made a deal in July 2022….8 episodes of the 14th series will air in 2024…..but the 3 60th Anniversary episodes to air starting with “The Church on Ruby Road” will be on 25th December in Australia which will be Ncuit’s first full episode..🇦🇺🇦🇺

@@JoeGrohlDJWe are lucky in Australia we don’t have license fees but the government is pushing to have new smart tv apps made more prominent for FTA Australian networks…in a bid to push more Australian content instead of deals done with the UK, America and other countries..the UK like all countries might follow too..personally I think a day will come when you have to pay a subscription to watch any tv programmes..that’s thanks to subscription tv providers….I’m on a blog about tv and all it’s happenings.🇦🇺🇦🇺
