Had to check out pt 1! I got my first pair of JNCOs from friends. Skaters I knew would trade and sell each other pairs since they weren't easily available at most stores. And the more worn, the better lol. I would mostly get them from Beach Scene and sometimes I would find defective pairs at Ross. I probably had a dozen pairs by the end of 9th grade in 1999 or so. My last memory of getting them was at JC Pennys. That was probably the final demise. The had at least 20 different styles available and was super mainstream by that point. By 10th grade I was super into gangster rap and wore nothing but Dickies and then eventually got into the tall tee phase in my late teens/early 20s lol.

I have no clue why KZread never showed me your comment till now! I'm so sorry! I know how you feel, those were the days, but everything changed so suddenly, it was impossible to save the brand back then. They've been through a lot on their own, but now that we have the power of the internet, it's much easier for fans like us to express our support of the brand, and the best part is that the owners actually hear us now. I'm just glad to have them back because finding decent brands after they disappeared was a pain in my ass. lol

JNCO!!! I never really owned too many of them back in the day but owned a ton of Menace & Kik Wear. Some Boss Jeans & Mac Gear as well. Oh & Caffeine pants too. This year (2022) I have been buying JNCO again. I have like 10 pairs now & want more. I have a few shirts & I will always be wearing baggy jeans, even as an old man. I can't see myself wearing tight jeans/pants. That is NOT me. I grew up wearing baggy jeans & boxer shorts & will always be wearing them. That is another thing too that they have been phasing out, is the boxer shorts. Hard to find Joe Boxer boxers or even any real boxer shorts now. Lots of boxer briefs. I don't like the tightness on my crotch. My boys down there like to breathe & move around. :)

agreed! tight pants feel like a punishment, and JNCOs look good on just about everybody when you get the right size. I've always said i'm more concerned with being comfy than being fashionable, but now that JNCOs have made a return, i don't have to walk around in sweatpants like some walmart weirdo. xD Comfort is definitely key! It's great to hear people are still supporting the brand. I hope they never go away! ♥

I have been wearing JNCOs since 2015. in december 2015 when I was at KFC with a friend and I bought some soda and I had so many cans in my pockets and it was hurting when walking because the cans hit against my legs and then there was a drunk old homeless man on the train who yelled at me saying "GET SOME PANTS THAT FITS U!" but I did not care.

Just saw this video the other day. Bought a few pairs of JNCOs a few months ago, and getting a replacement jet black pair tomorrow. Question: what do you have against ravers? Is this all ravers, or just kandi ravers, like those depicted in JNCO photoshoots? There are many types of ravers out there ... hmm, curious, is it there colorful flashiness and overdone flare that you find gritty? I can understand that. As someone who preferred oldschool jungle music when going out to smaller clubs, kandi ravers vs junglists was a big rivalry over here. Would love to see a third follow up video. It's been a few years since your second video!

I think my only real opposition to them is that the rave scene has ruined the lives of many of my good friends. I think it's fun to go and dance and see everyone having fun, but the drug use and "cuddle puddles" are just weird, in my opinion. I think the fact that i lived out on the reservation in Holbrook AZ, the only people who used to rock JNCOs were hardcore native punks & goths. Once the rave kids started changing the JNCOs style & hot topic started copying it with their Tripp pants, a lot of the old school JNCO fans started saying they didn't want to be associated with that scene or the JNCO brand. I think it was part of what tarnished the JNCO name. Raves were fun, but the scene is mostly dead at this point. ...in my own personal experience, of course!

@@girlanachronism9332 Thanks for your reply and completely understandable. I've grown to appreciate sobriety as the only option. To be free from all manufactured or mind/body altering substances (including less "harmful" substances like sugar, tobacco, alcohol, and caffeine), and to find alternatives to these easy, band-aid solution ways out, would go a long way to heal many people, if all in the world would strive to live in reality. Cuddle puddles, no thanks. Drugs and cuddle puddles are a fantasy but raves are still happening and their momentum is building all over the world, old and new beats (and bass) played for new and old ravers (teens to people past their fifties), and above ground and underground, but not for me. Though I like fashion, and I love collecting music legitimately and the clothing, I'm past disillusionment and further past the illusions. Even the global scene it's alive and well, it's rather deadly. I'd rather be around people who know the real-sober, me, not intentionally consume and wear masks that I can't control by an altered mind (pun intended). If it's not life consuming, if it's not a competition or for a dance performance because you think you have to please others, dancing is fun to all who can still move - full stop. It helps work and build muscles and helps your lungs. And if you dance hard enough, you'll get something like a runners high. No complaints. Thanks for sharing a bit of your story. I haven't seen many of your videos, just the JNCO ones. I can see how this brand is very bittersweet to you with how much they affected your, and many others, life and history. Up here in the north, Canada, those who've been around tend to poke fun at JNCO. I once asked an y2k boutique owner why, we both think it's because JNCO is an American brand and we are biased with our own manufacturers. Those who were in to mostly Happy Hardcore, Kikwear seemed to be the brand because the fabric was lighter and easier to move around in, and less warming, it's already hot where people dance. Thanks for your latest follow up video. I now have a bucket list of so many others that I want to buy from the store because of it. I've been getting JNCO's emails for the past three years, daily (and I'm on the three International JNCO fb groups). I hope they will replenish their stock on some items (I would love a Big Rig and a Magnet Corduroy in size 28/30, and a Black Camilla size 26... I haven't been to aware of whether they restock all items or not, I hope they do), and to each his/her own opinion, of course, but a Crime Scene of that size, too! That's all I got to say, except for one thing, hope it sounds kind of Gothic like the Undertaker, "Raves ... Rest.In.Peace." *eyeroll*

I got introduced to JNCO via the rave community but just like the comfort and style tbh -- I find myself staffing raves more than attending (anime cons and such).

That's one of the main reasons i stopped attending raves. the friends who introduced me to the culture stopped going for fun and started to go for the money. no fun going to a rave if all you do is sell tickets all night long. but yes, JNCO jeans are so comfortable, it's crazy!
