If anyone has questions please ask them here. I'll make sure to answer everyone! Also, whatever techniques you see the Daisy Fresh Boys hit in competition we can always do breakdowns so don't hesitate to post up which ones you want to see next!

You didn't really cover it in the breakdown but I liked how you handed their sleeve off to your right hand after you underhooked their leg, which freed up your left hand to grab their collar and do other stuff.

I’d like to see some details on actually getting the arm across when someone has a heavy elbow and defends the 2 on 1 arm drag by connecting their elbow to their knee. Also, I saw that you hit a bow and arrow from this sweep in one of your comps. How did you make the grip switch?

  • @Gorgeousjorgev

@@Rilasis another variation! So many options.

  • @Gorgeousjorgev

@@donsxito22 I'll cover both of those in future videos! To answer your first issue, I like to either throw my hips into them as if I'm trying to bump sweep them. When they defend I go back to dragging the elbow across. Another option is to keep the tricep/armpit grip and when they bury their elbow down, wedge your elbow behind theirs. So now your elbow is behind theirs and connected to your hip. Then use your hip to drag the arm across.

I'm so glad you uploaded this, thank you! I noticed in previous footage how good Jorge's closed guard is, and he does a great job explaining this setup. The details with the wrist control are great things to think about. I always used to only try to climb onto back after 2 on 1 arm drags, I wish I learned this option of switching hands and rolling under to right leg vs standing. It looks like once you get their ankle of far leg the hook to sweep is pretty high percentage with other finishing combos ready. Really awesome tech vid, thanks again PSF!

I really hope you would make another video on this position with further details and the different options we have. This is the first time I am seeing this and I instantly love it, so another video with more details about the position and the options we have as Jorge said - that will be insanely appreciated. I’ve been watching the Daisy Fresh Squad for quite some time and just wanna say the following - you guys are the best ! Huge respect for the human beings you are, for everything you do and how you do it. Mad respect for Heath in the first place for making the PSF and for you guys (mad respect for you too) following and furthering the legacy and his philosophy on things and just the way you are. Jorge, my man, never met you but kudos to you sir, your style of jiu jitsu is the one I have most respect for - technical, elegant and deadly. Wishing the whole team good luck and all the best, stay safe and wanna see you on the podiums on any major tournaments because you deserve it !

Just want to add lil tipp: 1.At 3:42 also use a knee pull (knees pulling towards ur own chest or over ur shoulder, diagonally) as you push their arm across u. And keep a steady knee pull tension through out the time 2.And if they are about to stand up 3:57 time ur knee pull as they’re making their 2nd step (in this case when his right foot about to step up ). Also keep the knee pulling tension. This should help keeping their posture broken and this makes you feel heavy for them

Thanks for the tips! The knee pull helps more on the traditional arm drag. I actually don't like to knee pull when going for the leg because it cause their upper body to become really stiff when they defend and makes rotating my hips a little more awkward. Thanks for the support!
