Looking at how graceful Kirk Hammett looks with fewer words, makes me convinced that it doesn't need too many words or vibe or attitude to communicate nicely. My point is, he is super super important in the making of this gem record even when he's not let to speak.
@EmpyreanLightASMR

They never even allowed him to release a blues album when he was vibing that. I guess they let him and Rob release, like, ONE song (lol) this month, but I mean, even with all the mental changes James and Lars have gone through, there's still a huge stigma in allowing creativity outside of the band. And Kirk just kind of goes along with it. As incredible as he is at the guitar, I can't help but lose a touch of respect for his lack of a backbone, and it shows in every interview like this. He doesn't have a lot to say, but he also has nothing to talk about!

I got so close to the stage and, yes i was being squeezed like crazy but so so worth it, at one point they stopped the concert and ask for all of us to behave… REALLY?? There were chairs flying, people smoking weed, and just complete madness…..and yes, I also jumped the fence, I had 3 tries as the first 2 attempts security caught me and told me to go back… i was… HELL NOOOO.. but i did only to go back and after the 3rd attempt i made it to the ground level….. my friend who followed me, just walked right in as if he had a ticket and NONE questioned him…. BASTARD! He made fun of me the whole time we where there… unforgettable concert!

Yeah, that seems to happen a lot, nowadays. A few years ago I happened upon U2's "the Joshua Tree", turned into lullaby music for toddlers and young children, I kid you not.

James... he simply makes me swoon❤️❤️❤️
I swear, James and Lars could moonlight as a comedy duo. Love their senses of humor.
I cried when Rob said: 😭😭😭
The idea of James chilling out to Elton tunes brings warmth to my heart
2:48 Hey Marty Listen I have been watching you for over a year and I just wanted to say thank you for coming online showing your true self, showing that you care about whether or not we can make it in the music industry. I love watching your videos a lot they really help me. If you were my music teacher, I would be blessed to come to your class every day. the way you teach me, make me feel, show me, it's just amazing so once again I want to say thank you for teaching me all of these amazing songs online. Love Carter! btw I made a long one but because I broke my other computer, so it refreshed my page, so this message is shorter.
So good to see our genre finally get the respect it deserves!!!!! The new album makes me think of mornings getting ready for school, jamming the And Justice For All album wide open soon after it was released!

Metallica will always be in my heart.
Awesome. I had the opportunity to meet and briefly hang out with Metallica backstage (just them and myself and my group of friends, no one else) after a show in Cleveland, OH in 2009 or 10 during their Death Magnetic tour. Hetfield was okay, but Robert Trujillo was seriously one of the coolest, most down-to-earth guys you could hope to meet. I still have a picture with him, and ever since he’s undoubtedly my favorite in the group. It’s cool to see them still going strong!

Was James like a snob, or just maybe tired

@@wokemaster1929 I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and think he was maybe just tired after a long show. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't mean or anything like that, it's just that Trujillo definitely did his best to make it a cool experience for us, so everyone else paled in comparison.

I would imagine playing the Metallica songs is a breeze for Rob because he's just such a great bassist and makes it look so easy, I doubt he's as exhausted as James would be after a show with him having to do both rhythm guitar and vocals for 2 and a half hours straight. And James is very shy when he's not onstage, I think he values his alone time. I know Rob, Lars and Kirk are very sweet to the fans though which is great.
These guys are our Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, and Van Gogh
I also want to thank Howard Stern from 94.1 Wysp in Philadelphia from the 90s for having Mandatory Metallica every Monday and also playing their entire discography sometimes. I love you Metallica! I do have a favorite Kirk Hammett though. I'm so glad you guys made it and are still around. You went a little heavy on that specific website that changed everything a little bit
2 years ago, in December, we were all so worried when they cancelled the tour. Now look. Now listen. Last of the big 4.

My favorites of my time!!!! Love you guys so very much proud of you guys!!!! Thank you for sharing this with us all!!!! Yup!!!
Saw them in Croatia back in 2010, concert was at a huge hippodrome, and it rained as hell all day long. After the concert we were all covered with mud, and so dirty back in the bus home. I will never forget it, that was awesome concert. Great atmosphere! 👍👍👍👍

I’m so sure I’m not the only one, but I walked down the aisle to Nothing Else Matters. I hired a local flamenco guitarist to play it. People that knew the song absolutely melted from meaning and the ones that didn’t enjoyed the absolute beauty. I love that Metallica loves how loved their music is by everyone as well as the homage to them💜

If you watch a year and a half in the life of Metallica, you’ll notice how much James now looks so much like his dad now.
7:48 I find it INCREDIBLY interesting how Lars and Kirk and nodding, and James is shaking his head. Because James wrote the song, and it's like he doesn't feel like that's possible, but like Lars and Kirk knew the whole time how great it was, because they basically MADE James allow that song to be on a Metallica album. He was protective of it and didn't think it had a place, like it was a "just for me" sort of song, they knew the whole time, and James still can't believe it. Idk, that difference in body language encompasses the difference in perspective, and it's fascinating to see it happen right in front of you like that.

Love them! James looks great I hope he takes care of himself and sticks around for many years to come. Keep on rockin!

God. What a beautiful, amazing band. I wish kids like me and my friends were all into this like back in the day.
Great to see James looking so well! ♥
