See we all used to sing this before work and this was truly a beautiful harmonized tribute.

Came here looking for a laugh, instead had mind blown from beautiful performance!!!

Can we talk about the attention to detail. Not just the hair, getup, mannerisms, singing and harmonies but the camera angles, camera going across the dials on the amp in the beginning, the graphic on the kick drum, the Remo stamps on the drum kit, the Mesa boogie cabinets in the background. Everything is so spot on to the original music video. And Jimmy Fallon is actually playing most of the guitar in it too by the looks of it. Saying they nailed this is an understatement.

I was alive when the original video by Extreme came out...this is an amazing cover and dang near close to the original! The look, the black and white...love it!

The weird thing here is that the reason this is funny is because they performed it so beautifully.

It's probably because it's so weirdly and surprisingly beautiful that it catches you off guard and is "funny"

I think something going unnoticed is Jimmy Fallon's attention to detail. Jack deviates from the original video's movements, but it still feels like the original videos. A large part is how much Jimmy is accurately recreating. Hair flicks, head turns, posturing. He really had to have studied the guitarist's body movements.

Usually he's not serious but when he's addressing a serious topic or doing a tribute to an artist that just died (Robin Williams for example) he's appropriately serious.
