I can’t believe anything other than Sean knew exactly what he was going to do as soon as the carrot in box idea was floated. Jon was doomed right from the start.

the fact they actually pitched the idea to all three of them ruins the moment, since he acted as if he didn't know the game and jon 'so called' got trapped in that thought, yet, it was pitched, so proving the carrot in a box scene(s) was staged

He always felt like that slightly insane uncle at a family gathering fucking with everyones mind. I mean, at the end of the day it's TV. And with nearly everybody on TV that's pretty clear. There's a clear separation. But Sean simultaniously felt like you're watching TV with that Uncle sitting next to you on a couch. Amazing skill to consistently pull that off.

Invented by an artificer named Robert Dearheart, the towers could send messages "at the speed of light" using standardized codes. Three of these codes are of particular import: G: send the message on N: do not log the message U: turn the message around at the end of the line and send it back again When Dearheart's son John died due to an accident while working on a clacks tower, Dearheart inserted John's name into the overhead of the clacks with a "GNU" in front of it as a way to memorialize his son forever (or for at least as long as the clacks are standing.)
