    A true god of comedy I always feel blessed that I got moved to 2nd row and then his first joke was about newfoundlanders then proceed to rip on me threw out the show, it will go down as best comedy show of my life

    I'm an American from the south and I totally understand British humor. It's actually my absolute favorite!!!😂😂😂 southern people don't get butthurt like a lot of northerners haha

    @@cherokeestormchaser3259 I'm British and spent 3 months in Alabama back in the 90s. Southern hospitality and the kindness of people left a place in my heart for life, I didn't meet a single person I didn't get along well with!

    Jimmy lowers himself to US standards! Hehehe.... I mean, yes, to remember and deliver a ton of one liners is impressive, but we have seen UK Jimmy.... He's waaaay better than this... Still worth watching. Jimmy on a bad day is better than most US stand ups on a good day.

    The best thing about watching Jimmy Carr videos is in telling others- especially left wing po-faced women of a certain age- that you watched and enjoyed his show. Their reaction is priceless. I swear that we could solve the World's energy problems by making them watch Carr DVDs and taking the heat from them.

    some of the old comecy centrak stuff is still so great. maybe mostly becasue theo audience actually also gets it. the first, more recent bit is awkward to watch cos the audience is so slow.

    I love the way he is extra careful to articulate for them - like they are deaf - and then sometimes explains the jokes as well!🤣 Still didn't get through tho. Maybe a pre-show brochure with explanations and definitions would help - provided they could read of course.

    If it's 25 years after Chernobyl, as he says, that means this was in 2011 when he occasionally threw in a few edgy jokes. He's since become brilliantly shocking.

    I had to speed this up to counter the 'slow' delivery - I guess Jimmy was conscious that there might be a linguistic barrier, but honestly I think that's not the issue, I think the barrier is purely cultural. Try it at 1.25 speed if you're English and used to Jimmy's humour.

    The audience has a kind of early Soviet era feel to it. It's as if, when they do get the jokes, they have to look around at others to see if it's ok to laugh.
