Dark. Very dark. But really, really hilarious. One of the comedians has got 90% of the punchlines through the whole stand-up, and they just land one after another. Most comedians nowadays have these lengthy build-ups. Brilliant comedian.

Yes, I agree (although I _did_ have to Google ambivalence). I only managed 5 minutes and the laughter seemed a bit forced, each joke was offensive to someone rather than actually funny, and I agreed with the comment from the guy in the stalls. Now that I've twigged Jimmy isn't about to introduce a load of different comedians I'm out ➡

I was 400 pounds at age 12, at my highest I was 542! I lost over 300 pounds! I use the word "fat" all the time! In my family, we bully our own kids to ready them for the real world! My mom once found a 6 xl (US) shirt in the closet, we couldn't figure out who it belonged to and my dad said, "it was Ann's when she was 2 years old!" I believe if a joke is funnier than it is offensive, there isn't ANYTHING you can't joke about, you can't hurt my feelings, I don't have any, and I can't be offended, because my dad had a cruel sense of humor and my mother a dirty sense of humor! Nothing worse than people who take jokes personally! I love offensive humor! As a super fat, poor, kid, and sexual abuse survivor, raised in the 70's and 80's, I was intelligent with a great sarcastic quick wit, with a thick skin! As a kid I was shy but when I turned 18, I realized, I'm amazing and anyone who didn't know that wasn't worth my time! All this to say, I love Jimmy Carr and ALL offensive comedians! People only get offended, when they themselves are uncomfortable with themselves!

The audience members offended by his fat jokes need to change their mindset. It's extremely difficult for anyone to help a fat person in every way, especially when it comes to medical situations. My mother-in-law (RIP) required the help of at least THREE of us when assisting her for anything and everything requiring moving her off her recliner. Thankfully, there were at least three of us available to help her! Exceptions to every rule, some people have a medical condition that allegedly maintains their excessive weight unless you literally starve them to death. We are not talking about exceptions.

Considering all the education available and advancement we made in the comforts of our homes, and the the higher level thinking and processes that one could be interested in and what we can do, I am rather surprised that people are willing to leave the comforts of their home to attend such a show, listening to a man, talking about what they themselves may freely do in the privacy of their own home, with the respect which is normal even in the animal kingdom. While living in Britain, it was much richer to go to a pub at South moor and have a sing song with the miners singing ," The Blaydon Races". To think that all those people present have that type of sense of humour, and they all have the right to vote to elect their own governing body in a democracy,.........I am a little bit worried and concerned about the fact that society gets the government it deserves. Every person is free to enjoy himself with the titillations that takes his fancy........ and while I followed the video for some time, to be fair, I must admit, that rather than laughing, I felt rather sorry for the people in a group admiring what is not so natural and many times being cruel------ and calling it "a comedy". This is a case of concern and an opportunity to study the psychology of what people do when they they have all the comforts in their own home! It seems that they do not have the ability to occupy themselves with their own entertainment, and they need to go out to be exploited while hearing a person reshaping what is normally respectful between a man and a woman. That Glasgow Clyde Auditorium is a rich research field for studying the psychology of the modern human mind when given all the comforts of life, and miss out on intelligence on knowing hot to apply his free time!. Sex is natural, respectful, entertaining, but not in the manner Jimmy car is exploiting others with it! In my estimate , those who are laughing , need assistance in the manner they are so gullible in how they pay to be " entertained". They all should know better,, but they do not seem to have the mental tools with which to assess themselves. NO wonder there are so many problems in man/woman relations, A few in that audience were actually hurt and they did not walk out for " society binds a group in many social ties, and once in the group, one cannot leave for fear of being left alone and hence lonely!" Jimmy car is simply earning a living, exploiting people, with no more than "verbal public prostitution and masturbating". making fun of members of his audience, many of whom are too dumb to realise it. There are richer and more elegant manners to be entertained. Again that hall is an interesting research field to study human behaviour, as much as and not different form 1972 UNIVERSE-25 MOUSE UTOPIA, THE END OF HUMANITY EXPERIMENT. where Jimmy Car is the chief rat in more than one way.

Jimmy's quite funny, but this special is too much like he visited several high schools (secondary schools) and just read off the list of their jokes he'd collected. Not a lot of connection except that his subject matter doesn't go very far from where it began.
