I am a Utah fan and it was amazing to see Jimmer light us up for 47 earlier this week. I think he is a future 1st rounder............BYU fans have a reason to be proud! Go Utes

Jimmer Fredette reminds me of Dan Dickau, especially when he was at Gonzaga.

It's going to be interesting to watch his transition into the pros. First round for sure.

@TexasPsychoK BYU was lethal offensively with Fredette, Tavernari, Haws, Emery and Lloyd Jr. Fredette has to work on his handle because he is proned to getting stripped. Kansas State exposed Fredette's lack of handle.

@TexasPsychoK Actually, Dickau didn't have Calvary his Senior Year, so he actually received MORE defensive attention than Fredette. BYU had more options this year than Gonzaga's 2001-02 team ever had. Dickau alone carried Gonzaga to a top 10 ranking. Wyoming beat Gonzaga in the 1st round because Dickau finally ran out of gas.

@tokcan8 I saw DRose trying to guard Fredette...He did as well as Arizona did..He had No Chance...Jimmer took him off the dribble once and later dropped a 25footer in his face.... deal with it.... Not dissin Rose . He is a Great Guard .. So is Jimmer,

@TexasPsychoK After watching BYU vs Kansas State, I conclude that Fredette is definately more Dickau than Price. Fredette's handle is probably worse than Dickau's and Price's. K-State's guards were stripping Fredette at will. I've never seen Price or Dickau getting stripped that many times in college or the NBA.

Dickau didn't have the handles this Jimmer Fredette has. Also Dickau couldn't score by isolating, while usually relying on wild 3's. It seems like this guy is far more clutch, and might actually be more of a Mark Price(but probably not)type player.

@cmoneyno5 Dude, you ever see Dickau get so much defensive attention? Of course not, and Gongaza was a good team. Jimmer should have had 2-4 more assists easily, but his teammates were horrible. KS was just too athletic on the defensive end, and he didn't have a scorer to get the ball to. Dickau played with an underrated team. Calvary was awesome but injuries destroyed him. Jimmer has a weird game, but he needs a low post threat, and an athletic 2 guard in the NBA.
