Best tour by far. So lucky that it was filmed. Telfer gave some of the most inspirational speeches ever. The standards the coaches set, the team talks, and Johnsons leadership definitely gave the lions the edge over one of the great springbok teams.

This man is incredible, he really lays it out.

Unbelievable. What a man

this is just incredible. The sheer intensity of the man and of some moments in particular is insane. Probably the best sporting moment caught on film - yes it is that BIG. I'm sorry but the likes of football just can't compete with this. It is spine tingling to watch never mind being there.

There are two types of player, there's an honest player and then there's the rest......enough said

Greatest team sport.

Whatever you have to give your mind or time to - however difficult, however much effort, concentration, perseverance or motivation you need - listen to this speech first and you're most of the way there.

Edited for language, which is a shame because it loses some of the emphasis. He said “this is your fucking Everest boys” and a few more uses later on. Sigh.
