Sean Penn winning the Oscar over Mickey Rourke was a travesty. It was just political. Out of the 5 nominees that year, Mickey Rourke was hands down the best performance as he added a physical element to the performance.

I'd take steroids in any sport. Hell, I wanted to in highschool. Especially as an aging wrestler. I mean you signed a blood contract. Steroids are the least of your worries. Id be more worried about getting my booty touched.

I tried to watch The Wrestler all the way thru. made it about 30 minutes in but stopped watching. I just didnt care for it honestly.
its a great movie and i recommend it to anyone who is a wresting fan. It shows the realities of being in such a crazy business
