The only way twitter seems tolerable is if you look and don't speak. I'm on there because my kids school love to post a bunch of pictures of what the kids are doing, and I love to see that stuff. I interact with the school and that's about it. Outside of that I may retweet or like a few things, but the second you voice an opinion on anything, unfortunately you're asking for abuse from some nut with an opposing opinion, because everyone on twitter think they are right about everything, and nobody can debate a point, they just fly off on angry rants and in the worst cases, you get told to hurt yourself or worse. Brian obviously expected it, but the twitter post linking to this video flushed a couple out straight away.

RIP Hana Kimura. For those who are unaware, Hana tried multiple times to leave the reality show she was on due to the harassment she was receiving on social media, but her management (Stardom) wouldn't allow her to. Similarly, she was unable to leave social media because her management wouldn't allow it. Riho was able to leave because she isn't tied to overly strict Japanese business managers who insist she maintain her public presence. Jim's overall point is fair, but ignores the reality of how business is handled in Japan, compared to the West.

If you wanna blame anyone, it's the combination of Terrace House and BushiRoad. Terrace House came up with the scene that got her all the backlash with the show, and BushiRoad, who actually owns the Stardom and NJPW promotions, wouldn't let her deactivate her social medias. She wanted to delete her accounts, but they basically told her no and that she has to be in the public's eye. If you really dig deep, you'll see some real horror stories about BR and what those poor girls had to endure. I feel so bad for her mother Kyoko.
