Even in the 90s when it was WWF vs WCW with the "monday night wars", people were just happy that you liked wrestling. Kids at school or if you were just out in public wearing a wrestling shirt, people would talk to ya because we all enjoyed this crazy thing. Even if what I liked and what someone else liked weren't the same type of wrestling, it was still like a respectful brotherhood. That;s the key word: RESPECT! Nowadays, kids don't respect anyone or anything... but what's sadder is that most of the trolls in wrestling aren't kids, they're grown ass adults.

@Juan Nitro they did XM noon to 3 and FreeFM 6-9 I was working as a process server, in my car 8 hours a day, and talk radio made life so easy. Usually caught OnA, and RnF on XM either live or the replay and was able to catch some of The Doghouse w JV and Elvis, Nick Dipaolo. Then could usually catch most of RnF on FreeFM. Those were the greatest days for Talk Radio unless we are going back to the absurd talk when Howard was a degenerate and OnA were nuts in the afternoon.

It's simply ridiculous how defensive some people become of certain subjects. Wrestling, like many things, is entertainment. Modern day live action mythology. Truth be told, I enjoy and appreciate all forms of wrestling and believe there should be a fair mix of said forms to keep attention over long period of time. Watching same style match over and over becomes stale and redundant. Heck, most wrestling is redundant by circumstance, most everything has already been done after all . However, not everyone enjoys the variety that exists, and that's fine. That said, Jim's opinion is influenced by a particular time/form of wrestling. You can agree or disagree, but shouldn't be makinh intimidating statements of any kind to either party involved. Constructive criticism is just that, criticism, an opinion. We all love what we love regardless of others opinion. If you have an insecurity about it and feel the need to lash out in a threatening way you may have other issues and need help. This is entertainment, pure and simple, not life and death. It's a distraction from real life bullsh!t. Enjoy wrestling and be more understanding of each other. It's okay to disagree, just be a louder positive supporter of what you appreciate. That's one of a few ways you may get Jim to reconsider some of his opinions. Thankfully wrestling is not dead, though truly enjoyable moments are few and far between one another. But I do enjoy watching and being a part of the newer talent developing from indies to tv, and yes some may be rushed but appreciate their efforts all the same. Not everyone is a prodigy or savante, and won't hold that against them. I love AEW and I love Cornette, and refuse to ever choose one over the other. I'm a Jim Cornette Guy and AEW supporter.
