Brian may not be aware that Tony Schiavone IS well known in Georgia as one of the voices of UGA football. UGA football is perhaps THE most popular sports team in the state, and Tony has been an important part of their broadcasts.

I still go back to when Last thought Brother Midnight was the greatest thing. I remember he let Cornette listen to this clown and had the appropriate reaction to it. At first you think its a joke but when you find out the guy is serious and is cutting the worst indy craptastic promo you ever heard. And then it goes on and on. I do find it funny how Tony talks about biased journalism but in the same breath praise Dave Meltzer and accept his awards

Brian is from New York so he doesn’t quite understand how big college football is, but Tony was the lead PBP for Georgia football in between WCW and AEW. It’s a pretty big deal. Brian won’t like hearing this but it’s a bigger deal than the Mets. 🤷‍♂️

Last is a hack with no talent who likes to say everyone is a joke. He is the joke, look at all the projects he runs. Boring and only for the biggest sycophants he can get from Jim's podcast to listen too. Last slams Tony when Last doesn't have a tenth of his talent. Ariel is absolutely right, in the fact, that Tony Khan admitted that he watches WWE, while no one at WWE admits to watching AEW. Dude is constantly showing his insecurities.

Oh please people in the WWE do watch AEW. Wrestlers from WWE have tweeted about Cesaro and Saraya's appearance there. There were even producers on NXT seen watching AEW backstage. Also Braun doing the whole powerbomb finish, which is clearly copying Wardlow. They watch AEW otherwise you wouldn't be hearing about the WWE being interested in Wardlow, MJF, and Jade Cargill.

@@anonymousbo0318 Yeah he's copying Wardlow asshole, the guy was doing the power slam as his finish and they saw Wardlow getting a reaction from doing the powerbomb, so then all of a sudden Braun started doing it. You can use that everyone does the powerbomb argument all you want but you can't tell me they didn't see what Wardlow was doing with the powerbomb sympathy and decided since Braun is a big guy too let's have him do the powerbomb.

@@coryfusting9294 I still think booker of the year should be 'void' for recent years. WWE has one compelling story. AEW is a bad coverband version of ECW. Maybe there is a non-US promotion that is doing well with the booking, but AEW, Impact, WWE and NWA do not deserve to even be nominated for the award!

The fact that marks got furious with Nick Khan for calling a child. Then Tony throws a temper tantrum about Jericho not getting a five star match, recently. Just shows how ridiculous Tony is and how fucking childish he is.

Khan is attacking anyone who doesn't think he and aew is great. Isn't that the definition of a "snowman". Lol

They might be better than the real AEW legal team though - they misspelt 'collision' in a trademark filing which is such a basic error!

I hate to say it but Tony Khan and aew will be extremely lucky if they see it threw for another year-and-a-half

I have nothing against Tony Khan. But I bet he is an embarrassment to his own wrestlers. Now I can see why Cody left. If he keeps acting like this he is gonna lose a lot more people. I would be embarrassed if Tony was my boss. There is gonna come a point in time where they aren't gonna care about the money no more. Just look at Cody.

The best part of this weird feud is that AEW stans have to be like “Khan has a point, Schiavone was terrible.” 😂 Well at least both sides agree on something.

Brian is right about Tony S I say that having watched the Monday Night wars, like Tony, and born and lived in Atlanta for many many years.

Tony is six months to a year away from going live on Dynamite and shouting "LETS HEAR IT FOR THE JEWS!"

Also it's not like Helwani works for wwe. They always get local market guys when they have a story about a guy in his hometown to do video packages. Tony kahn is child.

Schiavone was a good play by play commentator for the Gwinnett Braves back in the day IMO.
