    I think the expression comes from a pic taken at a PWG show some years back. Uncle Dave is sitting front row and I believe Kenny Olivier is in the pic as well. It’s one of those pics that you can either find with ease or have to dig like hell for in Google Images. Just depends on the words you use to search it and how the google image algorithm is feeling that day.

    @@davyjones2032 I stopped being a fan of Punk ever since I heard him say "I love WWE Universe" (few weeks after he insulted WWE fans for sipping on the collectors cups). Punk is a professional, he picks his bettle wisely. I believe he will start praising Twinkle Toe if thats what he needed to do. He is very diplomatic.

    I've only seen a video of Tony Khan ranting about Eric Bischoff claiming CM Punk is a financial flop and... Wow, Tony Khan is annoying and embarrassing. Punk looked embarrassed and awkward next to him. Khan came across as a child and imbecile, he basically acted as a fanboy you'd find replying to any negative comments on Twitter.

    Yeah I really felt like Punk acted like the adult there where HE has to calm the owner down. I also liked the fact Punk was like "ok that's enough" and it was enough to stop Tony from raging. Just goes to show Tony doesn't have what it takes to lead a company. People can shit on Vince whatever they like but when you look at Vince you KNOW he is the boss, while Tony just looks like one of the fans who had too much crack.

    WWE used AEW 'beating' Smackdown in the 30 minute head to head to counter the argument that they have a monopoly (in the lawsuit with MLW). MLW is trying to prove WWE has monopoly power in the industry. And WWE goes "Nope, look at this..." And now Khan thinks this is a concession rather than a legal tactic.

    It's a fan running a wrestling company. Being upset Vince doesn't cater a show to one demographic isn't a good resume to run a wrestling company. @@darthraider450 do they? Who is "shitting" on Seth, Roman, Brock, Orton, Lashley, Owens, Styles, Charlotte, Bianca, Becky, Asuka, or Cody in AEW?     I’m a 41 year old math prof that eats okay, exercises 4 days a week, and teach everyday. My day starts at 7:30am and I go to bed around 1:00am everyday.     21:08 The UFC does not run 5-6 hour PPVs. The prelims run on their app and ESPN. PPVs average 3 hours.

    The sad part is that Tony actually had a point and would have rightly put Bischoff in his place but undermined himself by speaking like a 12 year old who had cocaine and red bull for breakfast. As Brian says, I can get behind the concept of the promoter defending their top talent/world champ with facts, but there's a right way and a wrong way to do that.

    @@hollywood21639 That's debatable. It is true his presence alone hasn't suddenly increased AEW's viewership by millions, but I don't know that that is a realistic standard. It's also true that AEW's (current) ratings tend to be better when he's on the show than when he's not and he's been a major part of the draw (if not THE major part) for some good PPV numbers and notable live gates. In the context of wrestling today, he's probably the best draw AEW could have signed. If you're living in a fantasy land where wrestling is suddenly an enormous pop culture fad again than he's not, but no one else is, or will be, either.

    there is not a large volume of events to compare it with. In their 3rd year, it should be bigger in arena size, ticket sales, and PPV buys. It's not the AEW originals that are getting these buys, it's guys who got over in the WWE. WCW did the same thing.
