I think the expression comes from a pic taken at a PWG show some years back. Uncle Dave is sitting front row and I believe Kenny Olivier is in the pic as well. It’s one of those pics that you can either find with ease or have to dig like hell for in Google Images. Just depends on the words you use to search it and how the google image algorithm is feeling that day.

Punk is a professional, he picks his bettle wisely. I believe he will start praising Twinkle Toe if thats what he needed to do. He is very diplomatic.

WWE used AEW 'beating' Smackdown in the 30 minute head to head to counter the argument that they have a monopoly (in the lawsuit with MLW). MLW is trying to prove WWE has monopoly power in the industry. And WWE goes "Nope, look at this..." And now Khan thinks this is a concession rather than a legal tactic.

I’m a 41 year old math prof that eats okay, exercises 4 days a week, and teach everyday. My day starts at 7:30am and I go to bed around 1:00am everyday. @@Y2SJK Yep, and it's generally 3-4 three round fights with 1-2 five round fights in the main even and co-main, so it's only 85-100 minutes of actual fight time on the card.

Brian has the absolute best laugh and I love it every time I hear it.

That Tony Kahn rant was amazing. Put his booking and wrestling decision aside for a minute. When TK is on your side and believes in a person he will go to war for that person. Lastly I need Tony’s connect cause by the time my day is over from work and kids I’m exhausted.

The sad part is that Tony actually had a point and would have rightly put Bischoff in his place but undermined himself by speaking like a 12 year old who had cocaine and red bull for breakfast. As Brian says, I can get behind the concept of the promoter defending their top talent/world champ with facts, but there's a right way and a wrong way to do that.

@@hollywood21639 That's debatable. It is true his presence alone hasn't suddenly increased AEW's viewership by millions, but I don't know that that is a realistic standard. It's also true that AEW's (current) ratings tend to be better when he's on the show than when he's not and he's been a major part of the draw (if not THE major part) for some good PPV numbers and notable live gates. In the context of wrestling today, he's probably the best draw AEW could have signed. If you're living in a fantasy land where wrestling is suddenly an enormous pop culture fad again than he's not, but no one else is, or will be, either.

@@hollywood21639 Even assuming that's the actual number, who really knows? AEW's actual business data isn't public, so Tony's the only one who truly can say if he's getting his investment back or not.

there is not a large volume of events to compare it with. In their 3rd year, it should be bigger in arena size, ticket sales, and PPV buys. It's not the AEW originals that are getting these buys, it's guys who got over in the WWE. WCW did the same thing.
