That’s as sharp a line as Jim would have used cutting a promo in 1987. It’s witty, it’s creative, and most importantly, as you said, 100% true. Brian must be slowly absorbing Jim’s promo ability by osmosis. 😂

I honestly felt bad for him after that one Matt Hardy could have still been something great, literally all he had to do was just cash in on nostalgia and be 2001 Matt Hardy. I don't believe in always needing to recreate yourself to stay relevant. You need time away and the right return push to stay relevant if you're a star, that's all. All he had to do was just be a normal guy who did the twist of fate, but instead we got force fed that demented version of him that nobody can buy into because it's so hokey. Fans chant delete to show support for Matt, and I bet most wish they could chant something else instead

You know what's funny now that this has come up. Suddenly Elite fan boys want to call Punk a Karen because he tried to address Paige, The Bucks and Khan the right way to start with. When before he was unprofessional and toxic for ripping to shreds and beating their ass with one arm. Okay now which is it? They find out he tried going about it the right way and he's wrong for that. I swear to all things holy that they are worst than people in Call of Duty lobbies who cry and say you still suck after you keep lighting them up. Their coping skills and dangerously weak. I cannot make sense of it. 😂😂😂

CTE is no joke. I have some sympathy for the abuse they put their bodies thru to survive as undersized guys in the industry but at the same time, their reckless stunts & spot fest type matches have enabled this current generation’s complete disregard for basic in-ring psychology, storytelling, and match build. • @thehorrorhound6575

@@televiper11the funny thing is they aren’t even undersized. Last I checked Matt in his prime was 6 foot and 235 and Jeff hardy was 6’2 and 240. They were the perfect height and weight to survive in any company at any time period. Ric flair, dusty Rhodes, and Harley race were all 6’1, the Hardy’s were fine. But they chose to be reckless and “extreme” and hell it worked for them for a long time, but the thing about Jeff is back pain is an easy way to get addicted to pills and alcohol. Matt? His problem was hd didn’t retire when his hips went bad in the 2010s from all those middle rope and middle ladder leg drops and now he can barely walk and then as everyone else mentioned AEW apparently doesn’t take concussions and head shots seriously like every other company today, they’re stuck in 2000 WCW and let Matt finish a match he was legitimately knocked unconscious in for several minutes. The brain damage alone for being knocked out like that for several minutes can not be understated

He isn’t necessarily woke. Seems like he pushes back against identity politics and the trannies. I am not a CM Punk person. But everything he says about The Elite by saying they are soft is true. Matt Hardy defending The Elite just proves Punk right. Matt Hardy has become a joke. Just like The Bucks and Omega. He is defending guys that have made a joke out of wrestling. The reason why people will never respect them. Is because there are still some people like us who love it and respect it. Because we want for it to at be treated with respect. Unlike The Bucks and Omega who have made a joke out of it. At least Punk treats wrestling with respect. That is a huge positive Punk has. Unlike Matt Hardy who has become a joke by defending those 3 clowns. He just as a clown as they are. What do they deserve flowers to? For ruining wrestling.

@@bagser1 If Matt took Jim's advice and used his and his brothers' popularity to become their own independent show, we wouldn't have to see either of them trying to reenact their early 20s at 50 with their bodies falling apart and having to see Matt barely able to walk, talk, or even show a conscious thought while on tv. And Jeff could actually spend some time getting his life together with how bad his drug problem is and not be stuck circling the drain like he has these last couple of years. It's sad because Matt is turning into old man Flair, in a way, trying to prove to the masses he can still do things he did years ago without wanting to look into the mirror and realize his best days are behind him and it might cost him his life one day.
