If I had a choice, I'd go with YOSHIKO. She went into business for herself in a match with Act Yasukawa and attacked her face, specifically her eyes (which she recently had surgery on to combat possible blindness) and rendered her blind as a result. I'd say this goes somewhat into Cornette's views on politicking in wrestling, but on a personal level. When you shorten/end a wrestler's career intentionally, for whatever reason at all, I'd say that deserves a blacklisting

While of course Brody was stabbed by Gonzalez, the “dirty knife” was from the murder of Rikidozan, whose murderer pissed on the knife beforehand, and it was actually the disease from that act that ultimately killed him. I don’t remember ever hearing the knife Brody was killed with was somehow tampered with; other than being concealed and ready to go.

@@spac18 you know what else is real? The brain damage that he suffered that has caused him to go blind in one of his eyes during a match, and he didn't blame his opponent for landing on him he blamed himself, being accountable like a professional and a man. Being accountable in this business for your own actions and detriment of character is rare, just look at Lex Luger, he basically helped kill Elizabeth and he never took responsibility for it.

I believe triple h actually did catch heat for what all they done he was supposed to win king of the ring that year and it was given to stone cold and also didn't stone cold beat Shawn Michael's later that year and won the belt. And how can they expose the business when people already knew it was fake. My picks Ryback,CM Punk, Vince Russo, double J Jeff Jerret, the wiz sorry miz Jesse can't remember his last name but is on tna and just like the miz came from a TV show road rules or real world. There are alot more from one's that have injured ppl to no selling

One of the earliest wrestling matches I can remember was Snake Brown jobbing to someone on WTBS (Austin Idol maybe?). The good guy was about to throw a clothsline and Snake took the bump like he was almost decapitated... before the move even connected! I realized at the age of eight that Pro Wrestling was worked. i didn't know that was what it was called, but, I figured it out. It didn't bother me because I've been a life-long fan since. What Cornette and a lot of these old school guys don't seem to understand is that the overwhelming majority of all wrestling fans have always known it was a work. Eddie Mansfield didn't expose anything that 90% of wrestling fans didn't already know. In fact, we LAUGHED at him when he revealed the "secrets" of pro wrestling... because they weren't f***ing secrets!

It was not one of those things people already knew was fake. People in mass were unsure whether it was fake or not, and it made people feel it was legit. Nowadays, after all the events that killed kayfabe and that feeling of whether it was fake or not, everyone knows it is fact and is undeniable like 2+2=4.

After all the hoopla, I watched a few Omega matches, including the "six star" one. And I just don't get it. Fake selling like Michaels. Obviously working with his opponent. Takes three finishes, and pops right back up for three more. No real chain wrestling, just high spot after high spot. On the Bockwinkel scale of wrestling greatness, he'd be lucky to get a passing D-.

What I don't get is what the fuck is wrong with selling? Wrestling is live theatre, telling a story of contest that human beings have told since we were huddling in caves. That's being lost and its sad. There's a place for everything in wrestling, Omega's style is impressive and cool at times, wrestling has always been a circus and guys like Omega are the acrobats. I just hate how prevalent all the flippy shit is now like its the be all and end all.

Not gonna lie the no selling thing is really only consistent with the Bucks and Kenny. If you watch other matches their opponents are in that don't include them their is a clear difference between the amount of no selling. Not saying they are the only culprits (Cough Cough NXT) but they definitely do drag their opposition into their shenanigans. Okada matches are long but most are methodical and due have a large deal of selling and meaning behind each move.
