​@@entelektuel.yolculuklol of course he knew. He recorded that voiceover after all. In case you don't know, this is from Saturday Night Live so they spend Monday-Friday writing and rehearsing all the sketches with the guest host, then on Sat night they perform/broadcast the whole show live.

In case of this particular sequel the novelty of the character's antics wore off, I believe. That's a flaw of directorial approach rather than that of the actor.
