@J C umm yes in like 2014, also haven’t u ever heard of clout? She explained what really happened in all the times she was called a “diva” or “rude”, also I met her 4 times, twice at sweetener tour, once at dwt, and once at the hmt and had nothing but great experiences, so please put yourself in her shoes and that donut thing she was still high after getting her wisdom teeth removed, and notice how she didn’t try to be defensive or anything while getting called out for that.

The pearl actually is very important because it was her grandfathers which was given to her by her grandma, so that's why she has it.

It’s starting to grow on me but overall the asymmetry did mess with me. I think the fact that it is so simple but also has two parts and not just one thing helps.

The pearl is actually from her Grandfather’s pin (who passed away) and her Grandma made it into a ring. Then she always wear the ring for goodluck. The way that her fiancé incorporated her grandpa’s pearl pin is really touching. Its very thoughtful. Edit: It wasn’t the actual pearl pin.

It’s not the same pearl - the one from her grandfathers pin is actual quite large. The designer who made the ring posted on instagram about the process and he confirmed that Dalton (the fiancé) wanted to incorporate a pearl element (not the pearl itself) as it has meaning to Ariana

Seriously that's a dumb move I have a pearl ring before if you catch it somewhere you'll gonna be in a unexpectedly remove it from the ring. It's not holed in the middle just glued like wha a crown setting would have been better.

Yeah, my fiancée purposely purchased a ring at least 2 sizes too large and when we went to get a wedding ring I wanted to size it down but both my jeweler and future husband were convinced I was going to gain a ton of weight during future pregnancies because we wanted a family in the future, so they convinced me to get a little adjuster. I had 3 pregnancies and never gained enough for the ring to fit. After the pregnancies I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which led to me gaining a lot of weight (10 years into the marriage), and gained more than the ring could accommodate. I finally found an anti inflammatory diet that caused me to loose all the weight 20 years into the marriage and the ring is too big. I always hated wearing the ring because it was never comfortable with the size adjuster which broke 3 years into the marriage before the pregnancies. Such silliness to not have a ring that fit me in the beginning. Now I realize I just don’t like wearing rings so I don’t get it resized, so really having it fit me back when I was trying would have been best.

My dads a professional jeweler/goldsmith and he told me that because pearls are so soft they make for poor engagement rings, especially if you’re hard on your hands (even like house cleaning stuff). They get damaged really easily and have to be replaced every few years. For a more “special occasion” kind of ring they work better. I guess tho for someone as well off as Ariana it wouldn’t matter if they had to be replaced, but I hope the pearl wasn’t sentimental to her if she plans on wearing it every day!

I’m surprised you didn’t really discuss the use of a pearl. With hand washing and general wear, that pearl is not going to last. It’ll need constant maintenance (replacement) over the years as the nacre becomes damaged.

Someone in another comment said it wasn't the actual pearl her gpa gave her, so like the wealthy celebrity she is she will likely swap the pearl whenever it shows noticeable wear and tear.

I would really love to see you making a ring from the beginning. You seem to have good editing skills. I don't really know the best approach to it, but I prefer no/minimal background sound. Unless the sound is terrible or loud I really like hearing the tools in action along with any commentary you may have. Anyhow, look forward to more

If you live in any decent sized city I guarantee you can find a ring making course. It's not that difficult to do. In Toronto there are several studios that offer courses for couples to make their wedding rings. The Devil's Workshop is one.

the pearl actually came from one of her late grandfather’s pins. her grandfather gave it to her grandmother before he passed and told her that it would protect her. :)

the ring is actually to symbolise her grandfather who passed away back in 2014. her grandmother gave ariana a pearl from his pin after his passing and dalton had a pearl put onto the ring to symbolise her grandfather!

Idk where you’re from but there’s a decent number of colleges here in Canada that offer programs in goldsmithing, gemmology, etc.

There are college’s, universities and private schools all over the world that offer jewellery making trades. It’s a profession & it has to be studied. Don’t know which corner of the globe you’re in, but I’m sure if you looked into it properly you would find an appropriate school to study the trade

Her ring is gorgeous! I think the brilliance and sharpness of the diamond paired with the softness o the pearl is gorgeous but also represents the moods of love well.

Pearl's are supposed to be bad luck if your significant other gives them to you. Just fyi. Some ppl believe it, others dont, but for sure, that's a chance I would not take for my marriage. I'd ask for more diamonds instead! 🤣🤣🤣💍💍💍

@@liana8551 if she likes the ring, that's what matters. For myself, I would still be leery about the pearl, as he is offering it to her for her promise to marry. I am actually glad for marriage. It seems alot of people are turning away from it lately. I dont listen to her music, but I do wish her the best in her marriage.

I think Pearl and diamonds just compliment each other real nicely 😍 I agree I love it it’s so pretty I’d go as far as getting a cheap fake one as cute costume jewellery I always pair my fake diamonds with pearls and it makes it look classier I think
