I Bought The Cheapest MOISSANITE Engagement Ring On AMAZON

I think diamonds and any stone imitating diamonds are fascinating! Here you can see the cheapest 1 carat moissanite diamond on Amazon compared to some really nice natural and lab diamonds. At a quick glance, the moissanite is very sparkly just like a natural diamond and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It's not until you take a moment to examine the two stones side by side that you will really see the differences. A quality diamond wins hands down in terms of beauty, sparkle and durability over a moissanite. At the end of the day though, it's still always fun to compare them! With that said, a moissanite can be a great alternative to a diamond if you don't want to spend a lot on a ring!
The diamonds you see in this video are from JamesAllen.com. I purchased my fiancé's engagement ring and all the lab diamond in this video from them. I recommend them if you're in the market for a ring as you'll find their prices are very competitive to physical stores.

I would definitely go with a Moissanite over a diamond. Young couples starting out or those that will strap themselves with high payments could use the money better elsewhere. A ring that costs thousands doesn't mean you love someone more.

I know many couples today are saying no to diamonds and going with this new gem instead and saving their money for other things they want ! I have had a wedding set for over 20 plus years and it never fell out. So far as cleaning they can be cleaned at home with a soft toothbrush and a gentle soap. The differences are quite obvious since the moisonnite has a much higher refractive index than a diamond so it has a rainbow of beautiful colors.

The rainbows are noticeably more piercing and flashy/blinding on the diamond especially on the oval cut. It’s like oven-baked vs microwaved. Paparazzi flash vs Nokia cellphone camera flash I want the rainbows to be as bright as possible, and I’ve yet to find a channel that measures the brightness of the reflections and refractions The good news is that this camera is good enough to show you which one really does perform best which are both diamonds over the moissanite

Keep in mind, If something seems too good to be true, it probably is not. Cheap Moissanite can lack the clarity, color and strength of a quality name brand Moissanite gem. They may also lack the proper cut that allows the light to enter the stone and disperse with the optimal sparkle that quality Moissanite is known an loved for. “Cheap” Moissanite is a lower grade and doesn’t measure as strong on the MOH’s scale. The strength of a stone determines it’s durability, it’s ability to withstand chipping, scratching and breaking. As well, we have heard from a few Moissaniite suppliers that not all of these Moissanite stones register 100% silicon carbide. This would also affect the durability and the color. Even if the stone looks the same in the beginning, it could discolor over time which won’t happen in genuine quality Moissanite. I recommend a reparable company if you want a quality Moissanite stone.
