Jetson ONE - Newest Generation eVTOL at the VIP Event

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Here is the video presenting the newest generation of Jetson ONE during our VIP event. We held an exciting demonstration of the Jetson ONE in action, guided our guests through the facilities, and enjoyed a splendid lunch under the Tuscan sun.
This time with our early adopters reminded us how important their time and feedback are. We strive for excellence and keeping our customers at the forefront of our design decisions. We continue into the next chapter of Jetson with the knowledge that our customers are more than just customers, they are a part of the Jetson community and loved the modifications we made creating a better product.

@@ParaglidingManiac Um, ... as a product developer with a background in human factors and working on noise control guidelines in my country's standardization agency, *the least I expect is honesty* - especially seen in the context of currently around 1.000.000 healthy life years lost p.a. across the EU. Cardiovascular, respiratory and endocrine disease as well as early-onset dementia are the well-known epidemiological cost of noise. "The reality we are living in" is man-made, therefore, improving this very reality is paramount and what intelligent people are striving for and health is a top priority in that context.

I’ve been flying helicopters for 20 years, and these things look rad! Scary, yes. But anything with rotors kind of is lol. And even if they can only ever fly in ground effect… it’s still pretty awesome. At this stage I can’t see them ever being more than a cool toy, like a boat ripping around the lake. The next step will probably be an evolution to small turbines for power. Batteries can only do so much in a craft so small and weight limited. It needs more power, and for the moment that can only come from an engine.

Cost etc aside, the size and the ability of these has some useful purposes.....one is in ranching/agriculture, and another is in search and rescue in tough terrain. NO they don't have that much range yet, but they CAN be carried in the back of a pickup. Add a little more load capacity, a little bit more range, and you can drop emergency supplies to people you can't reach due to terrain etc..... Drones can do a lot, but having a person at the stick is always better.

What if it rains, or you need to go more than a couple miles, or your taller than 5 feet, or you need to move off the landing pad in to a parking spot once touchdown? So many things overlooked.

I am guessing it is the throttle. Pull it to go higher / faster. You need 4 axes to control something like that - Pitch/Roll (Will be stick in right hand), yaw (Likely foot pedals, MAYBE twist stick, but I doubt it), and throttle One would guess it would need to be spring loaded (Cos you can't push a cable). Sketchy as all hell IMHO.

They need to start putting landing platforms at the electric car charge points and have some sort of integration between these Jetson vehicles and the chargers. That would be a huge leap in advancement for these actually becoming more mainstream.

Honest question besides fun what else could this be used for ? Obviously rescue is out of the question for weight reasons so that leaves it for recon ? But it would be safer to use a drone in that case rather human so im just wonder what else can it be used for not being negative im getting one next year and half god first

Despite great sympaphy for the project: remember the noise of a single drone. Now multiply that to the size of the rotors needed, to carry the weight of people plus safety requirements. Now imagine THAT noise everywhere...One can't expect new tech to be perfect. So, current projects like this are neccessary, but until the noise problem is solved, I see lots of flight bans. However, new technology often gets a boost from new discoveries. Now we have toroidal propellers. So, keep going!
