Yes and it hurled David Chokachi and Ruth Kearney into instant stardom. They now have stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Love the mix of a little comedy with the drama. Especially during the closing credits. As a Canadian I especially love how, although the story is set in the US, its a Bulgarian/Canadian production filmed in British Columbia. Thanks for the upload.

Good one for B movie disaster film fans! This is a fun movie! The Baywatch comment had me rolling! Chokachi can make fun of himself and does it right!

If this movie has an A list actor this would have been a blockbuster! Great movie and story and disaster are unreal!! ❤👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟

Now if they had just had a scene with David Chokachi running in a speedo as the jet stream closed in on him....AWESOME!!!!! LOL!!

Reminds me of when the US gov. exposed citizens to radiation fallout back in the 50's and 60's. I had ARS (acute radiation sickness) at the age of 6, still suffering today and never an apology or compensaton.

Good VR effects, with a cheesy script. Definitely low budget Hollywood B-movie. Military advisor for this movie must be a joke. The Air Force ground crew BDUs or ABUs are displayed wrong. The U.S. flag always goes on their LEFT sleeve shoulder, and the nametape to the RIGHT chest, while the USAF nametape goes to the LEFT chest. And as usual, the ones portraying military are not looking the role, as their shaggy thick hair is way past regulations. **The BDUs design they are wearing is actually U.S. Army ACU designated camo, not the USAF ABU authorized ones that look similar to Jungle camo.

In this movie there were no aliens or sisters, so you must be commenting on the wrong video. You Tube has been glitching a lot lately. A lot of comments appear that clearly belongs to the video watched prior to the current one, but in this case your comment is the only odd comment that I have seen below this video about weather modification. 😺
