This was one of the best BAD disaster movies.

Love this movie, especially since it has Martin Sheen i remember spinding Christmas with him at his house in 1988 or 1989. I was in the Navy wit his nephew. Best Christmas i ever had.

I really like Martin Sheen movies, some more than others, this one I’m not sure about because @ 4:13 his character has just given the captain of the aircraft an illegal order, telling him to deliberately put his crew and the aircraft into an almost (we will see what happens) suicidal situation, and no aircraft captain I ever knew would do that unless it was in combat, even if they were to survive the captain’s flying career would be over, I know it’s only a film but that doesn’t mean that a little reality and realistic story can’t be included.

Agreed. I was annoyed enough to see the plot needed a general (and a damned fine actor) to make an extremely poor and hugely improbable error and send a plane crew to its death, and then we had to have "the best meterologist in the university" making even more imbecilic, bone-headed misjudgments in another aircraft. It kills my engagement with the plot. Phillip Roth wrote it - surely can't be The Phillip Roth, not this clunky trash.

Truth is : They CAN control and manipulate the weather. Using HARRP , & 300' MICROWAVE antennas , among many other things including the trimethyl aluminum sprayed in the sky. No its not con trails. All jets employ the newer engines that do not leave contrails.

I live in a HUD facility that is a HURRICANE 🌀 SHELTER BUT I DON'T want to ever go through a storm so bad but I guess I am just blessed 🙏 by God!!!

Great movie, with great actors all round. John Rhys-Davies, as usual, makes this movie as any and all movies he is in, believable with his acting.

I had a tornado hit my house 6 yrs ago, it was so scary ,a tree came in the ceiling of my living room. i still have nitemares from it ,and live in the same moblie home park ,just diff house of course. but yea ,i hate it here in okla. There is alot of them here😢😮

Sorry to hear about your house,I live in the UK and we don't get tornadoes on the scale you get them.I can understand you being scared,I am scared of thunder and lightning and so is my cat.

He was poorly cast in Anne of Green Gables as Matthew. Sheen likes to talk. A lot. Matthew rarely spoke.

It’s amazing. The man-made hurricane was sitting over the Northern Bahamas. In the real world, 2019, a natural hurricane, Category 5 Hurricane Dorian battered parts of the Abacos and Grand Bahama Island for two days. Major destruction.

To think man could control the weather like they can in this movie is scary.If it were real,i would order hot sunshine every day and rain at night when most people are in bed.

I wouldn''t want to be in those pilots'' shoes in a category 5 hurricane. As far as i know, a category 5 hurricane is the most dangerous classified destruction in terms of strength and speed? 🌪️🌪️🌪️ 🥶🥶🥶😱😱😱

Apparently this movie is based on real events because hurricane Andrew hit Miami beach on september 9, 2017, as you know Andrew was the most destructive hurricane ever?. Andrew did a lot of material damage as far as i know hurricane Andrew was a category 5 hurricane? 🤔🤔🤔

Yes a cat 5 hurricane is the most dangerous.I wouldn't want to be in one,they sound terrifying.I am in the UK so luckily we don't get cat 5 hurricanes.We have had minor tornadoes which have caused trees to be toppled and walls to come down but luckily no one lost their lives.

Beer from the bottle and popsicles while on the 'phone...check. Maverick hot-shot hero...check. Hot blonde.....well....not so much. But it's FREE and not the worst film you'll see this week.

What tornadoes? Most of the United States never sees a tornado. That would be like having some tornadoes in Spain and then somebody in Poland saying oh we just had tornadoes when they did not. The United States is the same size as all of Europe

You have two controls on your PC. The first is in the bottom left corner of the viewing screen. Set that to the max. The other is in the bottom right of the monitor. Use that to adjust the volume level to your liking. If you have a smaller unit without those features, you're out of luck.
