Something like that can happen today. It was really good and short. Not too long to get bored. Everything moved fast and to the point.

The last three lines are truly the crowning jewel of this whole tragedy of a movie.

Not a bad film for someone without a budget! It's free and it's the lack of money that holds it back for the actors, crew and director.

This looks like a good movie. SO what it is a low budget. That scenery scene at 2:09 is awesome. This channel earned a Subbed from me.

I believe the very first movie that Night Shyamalan made in his early years at a film festival bombed big time. But later on he made some pretty good stuff! THE HAPPENING, THE SIXTH SENCE, which earned him an Academy Award, and The VILLAGE which is one of my favorites. QGotta start somewhere even with a very small to low budge. Remember your kid's drawings tou put on your refrigerator? Then they grew up and became great artists and architects, making the good money. Gotta start somewhere using what you have😊

There were some earthqakes in the Midlands an northern area in the late 1990s and there was also a cave in a mine, these things do happen.

In the cave the guide says "If you look up you'll see some stalactites and stalagmites." Stalactites yes but stalagmites no. Just no! Stalagmites form on the ground, not on the ceiling. Easy to remember; stalactites has a C for Ceiling, stalagmites has a G for Ground.

This is an old school Sunday afternoon nap movie. I managed to get through it but the worst scene is after the woman gives him her car to save his family, he returns with his family and runs over her clearly noticing her in plenty of time to stop and save her. Stupid writers!

I feel so bad for the musicians who scored this movie. The musical score was actually very well done! They sure did not deserve to have to view this horrible piece of crap to do their job.

Watched exactly till 6min mark and that is it for me. When saw he was running away from falling rocks and they were nearly at his feet, he managed to teleport into the forest. Well I thought ok fine. Next more impressive, he sat down near tree 5:50 and one of the rocks smashed him by the sound I heard. But then seeing him still sitting and holding his head or covering it and rocks kept sliding. Well I stopped

Do not expect big budget If you are here for a fairly good story. it's decent. If you are here for special effects. Go outside and roll a rock down a hill. That's about how much you will get. I give this a 6 for free you tube movies. You do not want to know. I've seen some truly horrible movies on here.

Ever seen Plan 9 From Outer Space? Yes, that's the movie's name. They ran out of budget money before they could change from the working title to an official title. There are a whole lot of things wrong with the movie. Google it for a laugh. Watch it for more laughs. It's really that bad. The flying saucers were paper plates on strings. It's a horribly done movie.🤣

Good little film. Just wondered where it was set. All the characters were Brits so i was thinking maybe Scotland or Wales. At first I thought it was some Brits living in Newzealand.

The smart thing to do, when the landslide was nearly upon him...get BEHIND (on the other side of) that tree not in "front" of it. You''d have a bit of a better chance, at least.

ok, i made it till the end, but it was good for a hell of a laugh for sure...My gosh, seen some very stupid mistakes, like 50:08 , a jump of half a meter, and he does it like his life is in the balance. around 50:51 there are 2(!!!) cars in the background, and he doesnt take any of them. At 1:01 :08 he lights dynamite wich blows the entry of the cave just as clean as it was before collapse...interesting Dynamite if you ask me. And so i could go on and on trough the entire movie. Would i have done it better myself: YES!! By paying more attention to details, and realism this could have been pretty good, but i guess the Director was drunk orso. The only thing that might be good, is the man that plays the Father, is a pretty good actor, and with more experience, he could be a great actor for sure, he is the only one that plays his role flawless, credits to him for it!!!

I can't recommend watching this movie. Bad actors, the women worse than the men. The slow and boring storyline just doesn't pick up speed or thrill for interest. It's never tense and awkward things are happening that aren't even recognized by a parallel storyline. For example the two hooded gangsters right in the middle of nowhere by a road that hardly will have cars using it, but they are just standing there to rob a moving car. Then the woman, who is under time pressure, but listens to an unfamiliar man - who had just had been robbed his car, but doesn't even mention it - telling her that he needs to get his daughters, to drive away with them to a shelter. So this stranger tells her he is looking for his daughters, and she reacts by giving him her car keys and tells him that she has had a good life and he should just fetch his family and take them to the shelter. WTF!?! So unrealistic and incomprehensible. A normal person would discuss whether he would take her to this shelter as well, and not give up life in an instance for a total stranger. Oh, then the government shelter without any guards or other survivors? And finally the daughters only thinking of wifi, their stuff at the lake, and one wishing to be a single child, right after the family has just survived the worst earthquake in history? Or the father in the cave, who bombs his daughter into the otherworld without even trying to get her out of the cave? Him being smashed by the tumbling rocks after he escaped the cave after his daughter exploded, is slapstick. Also the woman on the street, who they drive over, and the several men, who are smashed by a huge tumbling boulder, are pure slapstick. It's as if the screen author hadn't been able to decide whether to write a slapstick comedy or a disaster thriller. I have seen many low budget movies, even made by kids or teens, and they all were better than this movie. I couldn't even find a single real turning point, which a thriller needs plenty of. I'm *not* sorry for the couple of spoilers, because this movie couldn't be spoilt anymore than it had been spoilt by itself. The author and the director need to watch movies like THE FLOOD to get an idea of how to actually make a disaster thriller.

The movie was kind of all right but it was full of bloopers... You do not go underground during a earth quake. And when he put those three sticks of dynamite and by the way where the hell did a dynamite come from, he put it in the wrong place... That Dynamite would have blown all those rocks inside the cave and killed everybody.

Es la pelicula sobre desastres mas estúpida que he visto. El papá no salvaría ni una mosca en un terremoto real. Lo peor para una terremoto es estar bajpo tierra. Si se cayó la cueva, es un milagro que no hubiesen quedado atrapados en ese bunker. Las rocas parecían bolitas de espuma de poliestireno recubiertas de cemento. El argumentista no sabe lo que es un terrermoto de verdad. Estoy en Chile donde tiembla a cada rato; hay erupciones, deslaves, inundaciones, etc. hemos soportado terremotos de 8,0 grados hacia arriba, el mas grande fue de 9,6 º Richter. La critica que hago, es con conocimiemnto de causa, pues he estado en tres epicentros con loa ultimos terremotos. A Dios gracias he sobrevivido junto a mi familia sin daño alguno.

all of those rocks are so circular, it's not realistic. They speed off and didn't see the cave instructor when he just popped out but yet they stop for someone else. this was not a well planned or well executed. how could you not see a lady standing in the road and why wouldn't the lady get out of the freaking way. SMH smh. 1hr and 20 for this 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm no actor, director, or script writer, but as an avid watcher of free doomsday YT videos, I have to say this one is really bad. Sure there are some mistakes and the CGI looks really fake, but that isn't so much the concern. That is pretty expected. What bothered me was: Mom and all 3 daughters look the same age. Dad does too much twitchy driving. When I am in a hurry with a known destination in mind, foot on the gas with tunnel vision. He is over there looking in 20 different directions like he is a tourist in a new city. Dad is in a hurry to save his family, but seems to stop for every damn thing in, or along, the road just so some cheesy sideline to the story can be included. The single rouge boulders obliterating a random person out for a stroll in the middle of nowhere were great though. 😂 Most of the story is shot in an area with open hillside, green grass, and zero trees or shrubs, which is quite beautiful actually. However, there seems to be massive clusters of boulders somewhere to fuel the rockslides, and it periodically transitions to forest areas. Everyone but the family conveniently dies because they couldn't fit in the car anyway. Women with bunker: "How long do you think we have?" Dad: "5 hours, maybe 6 if we are lucky." Woman: "ok, doors to my bunker will be sealed 10 min before the quake." Me: "wait, what?" Woman with bunker: "the doors have been sealed." (Doors were shut and it is questionable if they could even remain so if the wind were to blow.) I will give them props on some of the scenic shots. They were gorgeous. Also, the daughters weren't annoyingly angry. Usually, these movies exagerate the hate the child feels for one or both of the parents, which is over the top in a disaster situation.

I enjoy B movies, I may have to watch this again I skipped a lot. It was absurd no one was panicing! Was the lead actor a hero or villian? I think he killed more people than he saved! He took a womans car only to leave it further up the road, and then later killed her with a car. No one in their right mind would go into that bunker in an earthquake, and if the doors wont open again it's not a buker it's a coffin. And was she dancing with that table or what. When your cave guide says " if you look up you will see stalagmites and stalactites" Don't go into the cave!

This was a lame movie but the scenery was gorgeous.

From 50.32 minutes in the movie there is A big mistake. There is "NO" cars on the road when he was walking down then rock's fallen all over him you will see two cars behind him on the left.

24:28 so you got three daughters that are at least 17-20 years of age (from appearances) and ONLY ONE of them has a working cell phone to call??? in this day and age of communication and social media and taking selfies every 5-10 minutes?? AND THEY'RE FEMALES... REALLY?! NOT TO MENTION, at 22:56 the girl CLEARLY looks down at the ground and sees her phone. guess she just didnt wanna pick it up and put it back in her pocket, huh?! ya know what else, i dont remember EVER hearing of anyone EVER predicting an earthquake coming, to be able to warn their family in advance, the way this father does in this movie. 🙄🙄🙄

Wow. This is truly terrible. Which was worse - the special effects, the acting or that one guys hair???? Thankfully we were saved from his hair when the elevator fell.
