Excellent show, better than the 1973 movie BUT they STILL ended it at the wrong place! Christ ROSE from the desd! The Gospel of John DOES NOT END at chapter 19 verse 41!

The show’s creators have been interviewed about this- they view the show’s curtain call as the Resurrection! Consider the title of the musical and it makes perfect sense.

The show is about Jesus's last week alive before dying on the cross. His resurrection doesn't happen until three days after his death. Stop being so angry that it didn't show it.

@@MW53516 I respectfully disagree. The curtain call WAS NOT about the resurrection. A curtain call's purpose is to allow the audience to recognize and praise the actors. The resurrection of Jesus Christ was about showing that He had conquered death.

It could started as a mockery but it did not finished like that... God is really powerfull to reverse bad things into good ones... One example is the Portuguese book from a great writer, Eça de Queiroz, "A Relíquia" (The Relic), where the writer try to mock the faith in Jesus, but this book changed in a unexpected way that you see a stronger testemony of Jesus in there.
