Jessie Ware - “That! Feels Good!”
Some might say that this is her best record yet, some others would rather hand the trophy to the predecessor, “What’s Your Pleasure?” - I think they are equally brilliant. While this is a niche territory within pop/disco, there isn’t anyone else doing the trick and succeeding quite like Jessie - delivering consistent, mature, amazingly produced and executed tracks, with great songwriting and inventive aesthetics.
“Hello Love” is one of her finest moments on the record, I think - get a taste of it right here:
