Jessica Hull & Craig Engels - Union Athletics Club

Спорт

The Union Athletics Club is visiting Europe to finish the track season.
We met up with UAC team members Jessica Hull & Craig Engels to film a workout
before Jessica flew to Switzerland for the Lausanne Diamond League.
Jessica has recently broken the Australian Mile record with a new time of 4:19:89 in July this year.
Jessica also hold the national record for the 5000m & 1500m.
Craig (2019 USA 1500m champion) is returning to fitness after an unfortunate injury before the 2022
USA championships.
The workout: 2x400, 3x300, 4x200

So Coach Pete can time when they start a rep. Arms dropped and starts running the rep (splitting his own stopwatch at the same time). Seen regularly in American groups (HS and college) from the lead runner, sometimes seems to be a habit/quirk that individuals pick up and stick to. Definitely helps if you try to time a group across the infield (e.g. 300m reps etc).
