Christina Hering and Majtie Kolberg - Track Session
German 800m specialists Christina Hering and Majtie Kolberg (both with 1:59 PB's) are gearing up for some indoor racing and preparing at a training camp in Monte Gordo, Portugal.
Join Christina and Matjie for an 800m specific track session consisting of a few 400m intervals at close to 800m goal pace.
The workout: 3 x 400m (15min rest) at around 800m goal pace. Christina's objective is to do 50m hard, 50m float during each 400m and Majtie's is to run the 400m at an even pace.

400s at 800m pace is actual hell
As a former 400/800 guy when they said the workout I actually got jittery and nervous. The scariest workout my coach called was 3x500 very hard on 20 min recovery on a hot day. It’s the total certainty of lactic pain that was the worst. Good meet simulator too

German drills are so damn mechanic the execution is actually great
Really interesting to see the "in and out" technique in real time (from about 8:00-8:40). What a great episode!
We’ve been so spoiled by Sweat Elite with daily videos that I started to get anxious yesterday lol. Killer workout & perfect content, was worth the wait 🙌🏻
Wow didn't expect 400s faster than 800m pace 😳😳. That was brutal. Pls more videos like this( speed focused workouts)
Finally this drops! Thank you, Sweat Elite!
Nice one, both super strong runners 💪🏻 Really caught the Monte Gordo vibe as well, great job Matt 👌🏻
Loving the content & the brand promotions. Digging the synergies. 😌

Great work out, 🌻🌻🌻
It's so beautiful and awesome to see human beings running like that, it's almost as if they are flying 🤯😳 That's really impressive 👏💪🙂
Great workout.

Hi. Just wondering: no run in warmup? Just drills and streches/mobility?
To be able to run fast enough to actually induce real lactic 😅 Insane
I knew majtie brummerstedt since her ratzkrone sponsoring, great development

The warm-up looks like the ministry of silly walks 2.0, sped up 3 times :P
Some of the best female runners of today.
Curious to know the interval. 🤔 takes me back 🥵
Both of them are strong.
What was the rest?
Right from the start I'm bewildered. The one is very tall, or the other is very little. I don't know what to think. Is this a challenge, mind games or something?
🙌❤🙏🏻
She's fast 😁

Any sprinters coming up?
