Christina Hering and Majtie Kolberg - Track Session

German 800m specialists Christina Hering and Majtie Kolberg (both with 1:59 PB's) are gearing up for some indoor racing and preparing at a training camp in Monte Gordo, Portugal.
Join Christina and Matjie for an 800m specific track session consisting of a few 400m intervals at close to 800m goal pace.
The workout: 3 x 400m (15min rest) at around 800m goal pace. Christina's objective is to do 50m hard, 50m float during each 400m and Majtie's is to run the 400m at an even pace.

As a former 400/800 guy when they said the workout I actually got jittery and nervous. The scariest workout my coach called was 3x500 very hard on 20 min recovery on a hot day. It’s the total certainty of lactic pain that was the worst. Good meet simulator too
