s md 💯 absolutely hun. I always has to be the calm rational one when I was only 8 years old. I always had to be the mediator of every situation, I was a very quiet passive child and never really talked backed to them, so it was easy for them to put me in the middle. My brothers never wanted to even hear about it so l had one brother enlist into the marines as soon as he was 18. Had another one who went to live with family in Europe and attended school there. I was the youngest so I was exposed to most of it it would get intense to the point that I was getting physically ill. Had tummy issues when I was kid, I was losing my hair from stress when I was only 13. It was extremely unhealthy. They were great parents individually why they didn’t separate sooner is beyond me. I was begging them to get a divorce when I was 11, that how much I wanted out of that environment. I respect parents who realize that their relationship is not well and decide to go their separate ways, because it’s worse continuing to let your kids grow up in a toxic household.

For all of Darcey's faults, she sure did raise some smart, intuitive, emotionally intelligent, and insightful kids. I choose to believe that she really isn't as dramatic and immature as she appears to be in later seasons. It has to be for tv.

I wish more people would be honest with themselves and really think about who they are, their strengths and weaknesses, their unaddressed traumas and baggage from childhood, their finances, their lifestyle, and the security of their relationship/marriage before they decide that they want to bring children into the world. We would all be better off in the long run if this were the case.

She is so beautiful and strong here. Jesse is gross, a gaslighter, manipulator and was just trying to find any excuse to break up with her. He’s saying he doesn’t feel safe and trying to play the victim. Absolutely monster. She’s so beautiful inside and out. Her kids were amazing here too.

I’m watching 90 day Journey Darcey and this actually hurts my soul to see how much Darcey was being abused emotionally and psychologically. This is domestic abuse. Jesse was controlling, dismissive, emotionally abusive in every single way. He did nothing but manipulate and gaslight her. He would constantly make her feel down and break her down. He humiliated her. He just used poor Darcy for her money and sex. He is a vile individual. TLC should never allowed such abuse to air on TV. He emotionally traumatised her.
