Jerry Lewis is interviewed about his self directed films and his directing process, during the filming of Don't Raise the Bridge, Lower The River in which he starred. The documentary is in French, but all Jerry's and Robert Benayoun's dialogue is clearly heard in English, with French subtitles.

Jerry was a workaholic. When your a perfectionist you loose track of your own heAlth and that’s why he’s exhausted. Can you imagine their diets. Coffee cigs doughnuts and bagels. They probably never heard of a salad until the 80s. So many films seem to have no vision. Just a bunch a business people getting together and talking what works and what doesn’t. What the hell are we watching. When I was a kid I got what Jerry was doing. The ridiculousness of life and attitudes can drive you insane. But Jerry puts in into a story and makes a joke of it and that’s what his comedy is all about. “Can I get that string hanging”. 😀
Thank you so much for this. Just a question and I am not being awkward, but, this is a reverse print isn't it. Jerry's hair is parted the wrong side.. Am I right? Gerry.

The first half of the interview is a reversed image yes. The outdoor interview isn't, and Jerry's hair part is back to the right side. haha
I learnt yesterday the death of Patti , his first wife..A classy woman...

Yet the greatest amount of Percodal had been hiring since the mid-1970s , in the early 1970s the work was not doing very well, especially in America, it was being bombarded by an army of stupid critics. But I think there was also more ... He missed Dean ...
I'm just washing a video on you tube which affirms that JL had an affair with a very vulgar woman named Angie Brown during his second marriage. Did you know that or is it a fake new ??

Never heard of that woman, unless it's the one I'm thinking of who was just a friend. The videos seemed to have been taken down by the user, so I don't know.
