A pure comic genious - bar none. one of the past centuries great ones. Incomparable. So funny!. Mel Brooks - Jerry Lewis - Kramer - Chaplin - Keaton..... all in their own league. I remember as a child laughing so hard at Lewis in this scene. Cried laughing. Such good wholesome clean comedy. Those types of comediens were always the best and funniest.

I don't know if you'll see this comment, but I wanted to say thank you for sharing this. I love seeing behind the scenes things from Jerry's movies. I was also wondering if the photos are available to view anywhere? They're wonderful but some are a little hard to make out in the video. If not it's okay I was just wondering. I would love to see them in higher quality.

The photos were taken from a proof sheet. So starting out with a low resolution source is the reason they don't look sharp, crisp and high contrast. I purchased the proof sheets long ago from a film collectors store. I think it was in San Francisco. The idea came to me as I was looking at the proofs and then watched the movie. Just a fans idea that I had, that people seem to enjoy.

In 2:34 one of the Cadets looks like a young Sly Stallone with glasses. I saw this movie from start to finish and my two favorite scene where when Bugsy Peyton "disarmed" himself and the silent drill scene.

Then you should only watch the movie, and nothing that is an artistic expression or creative piece that evolved from that initial exposure to the original item.
