its very ironic you say this for jeremy jordan was the english voice singer for the demo album of death note the musical. Mr. jordan was light yagami who is a character that tried to become a god in the story essentially.

Watching people react to hearing Jeremy Jordan singing for the first time is my new favorite thing.

Should definitely react to Jeremy singing “Ben’s Birthday Medley” the amount of different songs he sings and the fact that he doesn’t know the order or what songs Ben has chosen is amazing! Imagine been able to sight read the songs while singing perfectly in front of an audience... the thought of that is petrifying to me 😂

Oh, you're about to fall down the Jeremy Jordan rabbit hole! You should check out his version of She Used to Be Mine from the musical Waitress. The song is meant to be sung by a pregnant woman as it is about her and her pregnancy. There is agala called Miscast where Broadway stars perform songs from roles in which they would never be cast and this was Jeremy Jordan's choice. He also sang Let It Go from Frozen there, in a different year I think. Also, similar to this video, he sang Don't Speak from No Doubt. It's hilarious, you should definitely check it out! OMG! I was waiting to see what Jeremy Jordan video you were reacting to when you tweeted the videos going up. This is one of my favorites and I loved your reaction! Jeremy Jordan is one of the best Broadway singers out there - not only because of his pretty much perfect voice, but as you mentioned, he acts every song and makes you really FEEL it. If that's one of things you're appreciating you should check out his version of Sam Smith's I've Told You Now. It's a pure pop song, but he instills so much emotion in it that you feel like you're watching the whole thing play out. I think it might even be better than the original!

Jeremy Jordan is an international treasure. I know little about Broadway myself but the Miscast productions are always so fun. I would recommend Cell Block Tango, I think I've seen 2 different versions, but the one with Jeremy and Ben Platt - who you should check out as well, is really wonderful. And for something little bit different I would suggest Billy Elliot the musical - either Merry Christmas Maggie Thatcher or Expressing Yourself.

This is beyond perfect

So from what I've heard, here's how we got THIS performance from him: There are a couple different versions of this song - a 5 minute (radio edit), and the full 7 minute. Jeremy wanted to do the shorter version "because that would be the sane thing to do", but the people that put this show together really wanted him to do the full song. He caved and said "fine, but I'm doing it MY way." And HIS way was to bring the comedy into it, lol; if he was going to do the full song, he was going to have a laugh while he did it.

THAT KEY CHANGE YESSSSS 9 million views? 1 million of those must be mine. It definitely deserves more views. Jeremy is honestly incredible. I adore this cover and I hope one day I can see him live on Broadway. He’s been in the show Supergirl, and they did a musical crossover episode which he sung in (not nearly enough). There are definitely more videos on here with him singing which are amazing.
