You don't come across many people like Alex in your lifetime. He's the whole package really - intelligent, funny, strong, empathetic, observant, optimistic, well-spoken, and calm to name a few. I wish him nothing but a long, happy life. Blessings~

Its very rare I will even post a comment of anything I think or feel onto KZread but I have to say this here... Alex Trebek is a GOOD soul. What a smart, compassionate, strong, good man. I am glad of his optimism and he deserves all the best.

Mr. Trebek is a real class act. Such grace and dignity. Man, we don't see many men like this anymore.

It’s great to see a survivor like Robin interview Alex 🙏🏼

How inspiring was it that Robin Roberts, a cancer survivor herself, having been through breast cancer and bone marrow transplantation, is the one to interview Alex. She herself is a class act and tower of strength. I always think of a quote she said her mother told her. “Everybody’s got something”. Rather than dwell on poor me, it is a good way to realize we all endure, deal with it. So appropriate to pair these two.

Alex has said he believes in a Higher Power but doesn't expect "Him or Her" to do him (Alex) any special favors...there are bigger problems in the world.

I pray God gives him the strength to handle the battle ahead. Chemo has changed since my mother passed 20yrs ago. But the treatment is still challenging. I am glad he has a great support system.

Alex.....you are so loved. The diagnosis is crappy.... but your honesty mixed with your determination and your recovery protocol make odds and statistics nothing more than random numbers. My daughter fought leukaemia ...1254 single doses of chemotherapy, brain radiation, and chemotherapy lumber punctures. ...that was 8 years ago....this past September she got married and is happy and healthy. Please know that the entire world is holding you securely. ❤️from Toronto.

I am 45 years old and grew up on this show. It has always been one of my favorites! I now watch it with my kids (18, 15, and 8). They love it as much as I do and I find it's great family time!

It's impossible to not feel hopeful for him. Pancreatic cancer is so lethal, it's crushing, but he's obviously doing the best he can.

I’ve lost two people in my life, ever. One was a friend, to pancreatic cancer. The next was my parent, merely a month ago, to lung cancer. I wish you luck Alex. Cancer patients are warriors, their ability to keep smiling warms my heart. I hope someday we are able to find a cure.

I love this man and I love Jeopardy. Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. I feel so fortunate to have had the constant presence of Pat, Vanna and Alex in my life all of these years. I'm 35 so they've basically been on television almost every weekday night the majority of my life. And it's not that I've watched them every night, by any means. It's just that they are _there_ , night after night, and you know they're there. They're like elder relatives you greatly enjoyed seeing from time to time and could visit if you gave them a call. I hope they all live til 120. They're all such wonderful, pleasant people. I'm grateful they have been around so long and pray they stay with us on air for another decade, or more, as they can. All Americans and anywhere else their show might be viewed, are all so blessed to have their regular, reliable presence on TV, after all these years. Think about it. We love, adore and appreciate you, Alex. You're a wonderful man with a kind, light heart. You've done great and you are great. Thanks for fighting and your fans fight and pray with you. Mr Trebeck, I'm very sorry to hear about your cancer. It is a diagnoses that hits your inner soul so proundly and that is a reason for some of your moments of depresion. I know first hand. I was diagnosed with ovarian ca. It makes it difficult for you to plan the future. I can tell you this. Push on! Live life to the fullest day by day. If you are a Christian remember the suffering that Christ suffered for us. Will keep you in our prayers.

I like alex trebec & pat sajak been watching them since i was a kid i was born in 1975

He is so strong and a great inspiration. I struggled myself with cancer, went through multiple surgeries and was ready to give up when I learned it had returned. Knowing you have little time left really changes your outlook on life. Praying for Alex everyday.
