Especially since his double jeopardy score was a dollar behind nancy's final jeopardy score And even if he wagered nothing, he'd still lose by the dollar So the suspense was real

Little did Ken Jennings know that his time on Jeopardy! wasn’t over, it was just beginning! He came back for several tournaments but at that time, I bet he never expected that he’d become the new host of Jeopardy!. He’s done a good job as the new host. He fits the job perfectly because he’s a trivia master but also because he knows better than anyone how it feels to be a contestant on Jeopardy! since he’s been one more than anyone else. Keep up the good work, Ken! I’m sure Alex Trebek is smiling down at you from above.

He does a brilliant job hosting. He hosts with such respect for the game, and has turned into a very smooth and polished presenter. He is better than many hosts who have decades of experience in entertainment and presenting; I am convinced he absolutely works his butt off to be as good as he can.

@@zipcity6720 I'm sure Alex Trebek would've agreed that Ken was the right choice to take over his position. Alex could never be replaced but Ken can build his own legacy. Hopefully, we'll feel the same way when Ryan Seacrest takes over as host of WOF now that Pat Sajack is retiring. No one can replace Pat, either but Pat can't go on forever. Bob Barker knew he couldn't keep going on and decided to retire and since then Drew Carey has done a great job as the new host of TPIR since 2006. It's time for a new generation of gameshow hosts. P.S. I'm betting and I'm sure a lot of other fans of WOF are betting that when Vanna White retires, Maggie Sajack is going to takeover as hostess which would be a great idea. She's already involved in the show and already has experience working the puzzle board. Plus, just like Vanna, she's HOT! 😍

Ken Jennings hugged his defeater and James Holzhauer high-fived his defeater. Matt Amodio, Amy Schneider and Mattea Roach might've have done something similar with their defeaters like hugged them or shaken hands with them but their runs on Jeopardy! where during the Covid19 pandemic and players were not allowed to have physical contact with each other or the host.

I thought for sure he would lose the next day. I didn’t like him I was glad when he lost. He was smug, annoying and makes annoying faces. Matt Amodio had funny faces when he didn’t know the answer it was hilarious and he was fun to watch. And he was smiling the whole time he was on which is enjoyable to watch .

I remember Amy's last game very well, simply because I got that Final Jeopardy question right when watching it.

I remember when Amy Schneider lost. The guy Rhone works at the local library of my hometown of Chicago Ridge, IL.

Ken has never played in a TOC. He was in the UTOC (Ultimate Tournament of Champions) and was seeded into the finals.

@@gameshowguy2000 yeah he had a choice on playing the ToC but had the threat of missing the UToC or he could play in the UToC, miss the ToC, but automatically play in the 3-day final for $2million

This video had 74 likes when I clicked on it, and it was ironic that I had to be the 75th so that I could "break" the streak of them on this video featuring Ken losing in that game he played. Yesterday was also the 19th anniversary of the beginning of Ken's run on JEOPARDY!

Technically James, brad, and Ken had a 3 or 4 game run to see who was the GOAT

And then all those players, except Jonathan turned out to only win the one game that stopped the super champions…idk why but I always cringe when that happens

@@fable9159 I think that James knows he is pompous; he does not need me telling him that. After all, he was referred to as "a self-described game show villain" during the Jeopardy Masters. Matt is awesome. Totally likable. I also like Amy and Mattea.

@@Margann1987 I liked Matt Amy and Mattea too but I don’t find James arrogant I know some people do since he is so good but I just enjoyed watching him set records all the time it was fun
