Hi, it's a Twitter SN; but I don't think it's James. But if it is, he retweeted something I said about him. I think though it's a fan of his. James is great, and he has little mannerisms... I don't see how he plays in Vegas. But he has brought his Vegas style to the stage. The push it all when he doubles is so cute. And sometimes it seems flip, but it's just his style. I wonder if he wears shades in Vegas and if he misses them on the stage. So guys and dolls, do you all think James is playing a safe game with his bets. I mean, I'm glad he's moving away from the birthdays and such but do you think he is knowledgeable enough to have had many more 100K wins? Btw, I don't think he will beat Kins 74 days, But the money record. big bets should secure that. Come on James, trust your knowledge. At the end of his 74 days Ken had won 2.5+ __Atalanta :)

Here after we've lost Alex, but I really wanted to add to the topic of discussion: one of the best rule changes in any game show, in history, is when Jeopardy eliminated the 5 game limit for returning champions and allowed it to be open ended. You come back for the next game so long as you keep winning. That really opened up the appeal to the show and brought in more viewers. As long as that old rule was in place I could never understand their reasoning. If you won 5 games in a row you were done no matter what. There were a lot of contestants in the 80s and 90s who were unquestionably good enough to continue on long past 5 games, because quite a few hit that limit.

Let's not forget Brad Rutter. When he played the rules didn't let him keep returning, and his only loss came when playing Watson and Ken. I would love to see James, Ken and Brad go at it. Brad Rutter doesn't get the recognition he deserves because he was on the show during the 5 game limit. Brad defeated Ken in each Jeopardy showdown and, I believe, has the record for winnings on Jeopardy.

ken came in second in the watson show down while brad came in third. from jeopardy stat metrics brad is faster on the buzzer and more aggressive on the bets while ken has a broader knowledge base. i dont think brad would've come close to ken's record, but in single game appearances i'd put my money on him over jennings because of his aggressive betting.

@@rm2399 Ken beat the brakes off Brad and James in the GOAT tournament last month. Brad and others don't get the same recognition as Jennings does because they don't have the same kind of resume. 20 games in a row = Great 30 games in a row = Super great 50 games in a row = Astoundingly great 70 games in a row = Something out of this world
