I feel the same way about school, children don’t need that added distraction, while learning! We would get better results in schools if they were separated! If you want respect I believe you need to communicate you have self respect by the way you present yourself. That said, men are responsible for how they choose to treat women no matter how their dressed. Then there is the nba approach of docking pay for games players miss because they aren't allowed to play because of local and/or state vaccine mandates in the arenas they play home and road games in. Andrew Wiggins who got rejected for a religious exemption in San Francisco last month suddenly got vaccinated because the deadline was approaching where if he didn't get his first dose of vaccine he couldn't be fully vaccinated by the Warriors home opener. A woman should not be harassed because of what she's wearing. HOWEVER, can we stop with the sexual gaslighting? Many women DO dress in an overtly sexual manner in order to obtain power. Some women use their sexual attractiveness to gain power. Some women go too far. I believe that's the point she was trying to make, NOT that women should be assaulted, and I believe that these two women (and many others) know that.

The only power most of them have. Men as a whole have all the power. We treat women with respect across the board regardless of how they dress but until that happens dont ever begrudge a woman, what may be her only actual power. And while were at it if i can refrain from objectifying other people or animals then these men can be expected to utilize a very basic level of self control or live with the consequences like we women do. Sorry for barking but I’m seriously exhausted at having to continually point these things out. I’m totally disabled because of men who refused to exercise self control. The consequences of someone else’s behavior. I was wearing navy dungarees. Not the most revealing or sexy outfits. So its not the clothes anyway. It’s the garbage attitude towards women

What's "Sexual gaslighting"? What does dressing "overly sexual" look like? If a buff dude walks down the street (or any place) with his shirt off is he being "over sexual"? 🙄 Do you think those women who approached "Sage" were in bikinis? Let me guess: You're perfectly fine with men using their power to gain sex? Stay away from Patty ladies. 😳 #gross #incelmentality

@@chelisue If yours is a case of being truly victimized, then my condolences to you. However, sexual power is not the only power that any woman has. That is a depressingly objectifying and demeaning way of looking at women. And yes, absolutely, men must exercise self control. But gaining power through the use of your sexual attractiveness is still a power grab and it's wrong. Women need to check themselves on that.

@@cassiusdhami9215 Gaslighting is the practice of making someone question their ability to perceive things accurately. When it's in the context of one's sexual feelings and relationships, it's sexual gaslighting. What I meant by it specifically was that some women use tactics, including their way of dressing, to entice and manipulate men, but then pretend that that was not their intent and something was wrong with the man for being sexually attracted to her. The fact that women have been conditioned to, on the one hand, fashion themselves to be as sexually attractive to men as possible, but on the other hand, to take no responsibility for a man being sexually aroused, is problematic and is absolutely a form of gaslighting. Feminism, which I support by the way, has conditioned society to believe that women have no culpability in this regard, so that a) men don't cross the line and justify their violent behavior, and b) so that women can continue to use their sexuality to gain power with impunity. As a result, in trying to gain equality, the scales have been tipped in the favor of the woman in this regard.

@@patrickdavenport6254 nope they don’t. You still have the power advantage. I agree it IS depressingly objectifying and demeaning. And exactly why it’s on the guys to fix it. Until women have an actual advantage that doesn’t involve appealing to the baser impulses of some men then they have to do what they have to do to get anything accomplished. And yes. Literally just to get anything done. And we’re not talking about a handful of outliers the vast majority of women either manipulate or hide out. I’m a hider outer.

Corporations and their functionaries love identity politics because it divides and distracts from the massive economic inequality and as a result, massive political inequality in this country. Identity politics is a pernicious, inherently conservative perspective which seeks to obscure the primacy of social class in a capitalist economic system and corporatist political system. Here we have two rich people complaining about the opinions and identities of another rich person. Unless, you are also rich, the political interests of these three are diametrically opposed to your own; regardless of race or sex. This "controversy" is manufactured by Disney, the parent company of ESPN, to distract from the fact it uses children in sweat shops to manufacture its memorabilia.
