ESPN Anchor Sage Steele's DISGUSTING Rants on Jay Cutler's Podcast

What is Sage Steele thinking? Adrienne Lawrence and Jayar Jackson discuss on The Young Turks. Watch LIVE weekdays 6-8 pm ET. kzread.infolive

"ESPN has a perceived narrative of being a leftist network, but they also have a highly successful SportsCenter anchor who is considered by many to be the sports version of Candace Owens.
Before the podcast was even released, SportsCenter anchor Sage Steele made headlines during her interview with former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, calling ESPN’s vaccine mandate “sick” and “scary.” Once the episode was released, Steele continued to offer opinions that wouldn’t align with most of her sports media colleagues.
“You’re the Candace Owens of ESPN,” Cutler told Steele while discussing the network’s frequency to stray from sports."*

I spent many weekends and holidays with Ida. I know I had more of a black experience than did Obama. He is bi-racial....white/black. Science will tell you that when animals are in mating season, they get more colorful, the fluff their feathers or puff up their coats, they do stuff to make their scent more potent. They do this to attract. When women wear clothing that accentuates their attributes, especially in a way that may be overtly sexual, why is it crazy to assume that makes might take that as an invitation to shoot their shot. It's called courting in the scientific community and it's how species survive. If liberals want to act so hot on science, it's about time they start obeying its laws ever when it doesn't fit certain stupid narratives. I'm not saying, and Sage Steele didn't say that a girl that dresses sexy deserves to be raped. She just said, you're going to get attention and if you don't want that attention, maybe dress in a way that doesn't garner that attention. As far a the Obama/father comment, nothing in that belittled black fathers. Nothing! She simply started the fact that Obama did not know his father because his father left him when he was a baby and Obama was essentially raised by his white mother and his white grandparents from KANSAS! That is it! I don't know if you can put down two ethnicities or multiracial on the Census and chances are that Sage Steele didn't even fill out her Census. What I do know, however, is that Steele's comment was not pointed towards the black community and the notion that black fathers aren't involved in black children's upbringing

What was her point in even saying that on Jay Cutler’s platform and audience that believes in and supports a political party that pushes the narrative that “black fathers are absent” when the CDC and Pew research center both debunk that narrative?…In her own words, “women are not stupid, and she knew exactly what saying when addressing a platform that believes those views..But if that was not her intention, it can be mistaken in that light because of the optics around the entire situation.

I'm not in agreement with TYT or her on the matter. Your rights end at the tip of your nose. People are free to dress as they please and people are free to comment on your attire as long as they aren't in a work environment. You're not entitled to a bubble in which you are promised to not be offended. The constitution doesn't give you the right not to be offended by others words. That's why one should be mindful about apparel if you are that sensitive to people's reaction to it. Choice works both ways. You're free to mask, not mask, or not vaccinate but it's a poor public health decision not to mask up and not vaccinate. The best and patriotic choice would be to vaccinate and wear a mask to think about your self, neighbors, economy, and national security. Why would she need to worry about another man's racial identity? She doesn't like to be associated with the black community and that's her choice. I don't think the black community misses her or cares about her either. She has more things in life to worry about other than someone else's racial identity. Have an opinion if you must and be ready to deal with the bad PR of your opinions. Another battle not worth fighting. Celebrities used to protect their brand and avoid controversy. Now, they think controversy is their brand. The choice of moderation isn't her position or TYT's position. Personally, I wasn't a fan and I won't miss her. Bad personal opinions only become problematic when they become policy or infringe on other people's freedom. She makes no public policy so she's irrelevant. If she wants to damage her brand, it's all on her and her employer doesn't have to accept the blowback of that damage. Freedom of association.
