I'm not going to lie I am loving Gregorio's performance, I loved his performance 4 years ago and you can tell he has only grown since then. But i just wanted to take a moment to appreciate Utterson's voice, those vocal chops are pure silk so smooth.

Roles that I see Gregorio playing from now on : Rasputin(Anastasia), Phantom(Phantom of the Opera), Sweeney(Sweeney Todd) and Beast(Beauty and the Beast). I'm seriously in love with Jekyll & Hyde, and I can't wait to see Dangerous Game, is my favorite number of the show, just after Alive and Transformation!

he would definitely suit those roles but I also think he would make a great Dracula in its musical.

Mr. Utterson has such a great voice; I'm glad he gets to shine here! "His Work and Nothing More" is just beautiful! And the "Sympathy, Tenderness" scene is one of my favorites from this show; their performance personally did it a lot of justice! (That was a nasty bite though. Jekyll's reaction was a mood)

All Lucy wanted was Henry’s care and compassion. She told him herself how she never had anyone like him, someone to be a good friend. She ended up loving him; I can see the sadness in her eyes when Henry didn’t reciprocate his emotions after she kissed him. He is too obsessed with his work and most likely knows he is also a danger to her after what Mr. Hyde had done to her. I’ve never read the book and only basing my assumptions on this amazing high school production. Correct me if I’m wrong lol 😊 I do love their performances!

You're not wrong, this production is amazing. The acting really shows the emotions and what goes on in the characters heads. And actually, neither Lucy or Emma are in the book. The story is really short, around 120 pages. The musical would be very short and not as interesting if they weren't in it, but the book is really good. I guess they are just different kinds of storytelling.

The musical gives so much more to interpret. The book is in the perspective of dr. Jekylls friend. And the main plot twist of the strange case is well known to everybody today. So i Love your interpretation it fits to this Adaption of the musical so perfectly. There is no wrong 🤗

@@phoenixperson8296 I actually agree there. Jekyll and Hyde is perhaps my all-time favorite broadway musical, but doesn't get enough attention that it deserves. The novella by Robert Lewis Stevenson is really short. I think in way, Emma and Lucy really add something to the story. Emma questions about whether Dr. Henry Jekyll still loves her, and Lucy questions if he really cares about her. So two women having feelings for the same man without knowing anything about Mr. Hyde or even that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde are one and the same really adds something. I should also point that Dr. Jekyll's friend John Utterson also really adds to the story. He's concerned about his friend being caught up with his work. Even he's not aware of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde being one and the same.

Changing "It's like when love dies" made me so upset, as well as taking out John's intro, but there's a lot of potential for these actors and it's a great performance.
