Jeffrey Willis : The Silver Minivan

Jeffrey Willis aspired to be like the Toolbox Killers. He wanted to drive around in his van, abducting, raping, torturing, and killing young women. He even kept his supplies in a toolbox. Fortunately, one of his victims got away and ended his reign of terror.

PG&E and a blown transformer is all I need to find you. But you were kind enough to also provide it was in front of your house off the freeway. I guess you Northern California ladies will never learn to keep from spilling the beans. I work in IT for PG&E and did you know that PG&E provides natural gas and electricity to 5.2 million households in the northern two-thirds of California, from Bakersfield and northern Santa Barbara County, almost to the Oregon and Nevada state lines. But with the useful information you gave me I've already found you. I'll see you soon 🎉. LESSON TO BE LEARNED Now stop giving away info in the KZread comment section that can be used to track you down. PG&E is only available in Northern California. That's a big area to search but you were kind enough to give other information that will slowly narrow that spot down to a smaller and smaller area to search. Please remember to stay safe we only have each other to watch out for ourselves.

It was very well covered for the most part, but he completely skipped over Jeff's early years. He didn't fit the typical serial killer profile at all. He was a star track runner who was very popular with the ladies and seemed to be a well adjusted adult for a long time. Something changed in him though and he went down a seriously depraved rabbit hole in his 30s. This video easily could've spent just 5 more minutes on these details.

I love how the sheriff forced him to listen to the closing statements, since he so rudely couldn't even stay and listen to the family as they grieve for the loved one he took away from them. Thank you for this! I have so many 'almost' connections to several people in this case, it's crazy. I never dreamed you would cover a case from my hometown. I only met Jeff Willis once in the mid 90s. He was dating a friend of a friend. The meeting was just an introduction and very quick and not memorable in the least. I worked directly with the gas station manager's Mom (who is an absolutely amazing person by the way). However, I didn't realize this until after the trial, and I had moved away. It wasn't anything we ever discussed. Rebekah Bletsch was married to a distant cousin of mine; though we've never met. My parents live right down the road from where he lived when he was committing these crimes. They also didn't know each other. Willis was working with another cousin of mine whilst he was committing these crimes. Not directly though , same shift but different departments. The last 'almost' connection... The husband of my childhood best friend, was one of the amazing prosecuting attorneys for his trial. Also haven't met him. I keep hoping Jessica's remains are found and returned to her family. Thank you for these incredible shows. Love from Canada 🇨🇦

Jeff was my younger brothers best friend since elementary. My brother passed in 2012, before this happened. He helped with his funeral arrangements. Last time I remember seeing Jeff was when we both showed up to take the test to work for the census. I sat next to him because I'd known him since he was 8. I walked out on the test, as I thought it was really hard. He was always pretty smart. I wonder if he ever got the job; going door to door asking how many people lived at their address. I also wore his jersey for senior powder puff. I got really drunk, fell in the fire and melted the back of it. Kind of gives me the chills, when I think that I know someone capable of committing these types if crimes. My mother would tell all my brother's friends to come over any time and use the pool, even after he passed away.

Sigh of relief for all of you. Glad you're all safe. 🌹 My baby sister had a close call with some creep back in the 80's. I lived a thousand miles away, but we'd usually talk once a week on the phone. Her car broke down and she'd just passed a gas station, so she was walking back to call someone to come get her. Some guy in a pickup says "that your car? You broke down? I can take a look at it...." Real nice and polite. She says "nah thanks, just gonna go call somebody." He insists "well, lemme give you a ride!" She says "No thanks, I got it.." keeps walking. He puts the truck in park, jumps out, starts running after her, IN SIGHT OF THE GAS STATION and she said it was like a switch was flipped! He's yelling, cussing, telling her what he's gonna do to her...she said the adrenaline kicked in and she'd never run so fast in her life! She says just then the gas station employee comes out and sees her running and sees the guy chasing her. And thank gosh, the creep SAW THE GAS STATION GUY SEEING THE CREEP CHASING HER. She said he quit chasing HER & ran back to his truck. I thought my heart would stop just hearing her tell that story. I said did you call the cops???!!! She said no, the gas station guy wanted to call the sheriff (they didn't have cops outside the city limits, they had sheriffs) I said, you should've called the cops, someone like that has probably done it before and for sure will do it again. How many folks are living paycheck to paycheck driving crappy cars & taking their chances out here every day? I used to be so happy when my car would die and I'd think "Yay! I broke down on the bus route! At least I can get home! 🤦

I'm from muskegon, and I had moved away when this happened but I followed this very closely I went to Mona shores schools. Jessica is a couple years younger than I am but I still felt so very close to this because of being from this area . I feel so badly for the families in this story. It hits so close to home for me.

Viagra??! This POS was trying to make sure he was able to perform as long as he could while victimizing these poor woman. People like this deserve capital punishment. There's no rehabilitating people as sick as this. My deepest condolences to the victims and their families.

Perfect. As always, you're coverage is not only (for lack of better term) entertaining but more importantly very educational. I have been so distraught over a case i saw recently covered by Crime Watch called "The Cannibal Cop" and this story is exactly what the jury on that case should have to see so they might be able to understand why the F.B.I. knew it was necessary to lock that cop away....and why finding him not guilty was the wrong wrong wrong way to vote. I personally appreciate all of your videos because i love listening to all the intelligence you gift to your listeners. Perfection. Your choice of words and how you use them just everything everything! Fantastic work, thank you for all you put into your channel.

What a monster. He deserves everything that I can only hope that he gets in prison. I hope that the guards have spoken about his despicable, absolutely vicious attacks and predilections for children. Madison is amazing for her bravery and courage. The " manager" of the store where Jessica worked was about as useful as an ashtray on motorcycle. How could she consciously drive past the store after seeing something strange happening?. I'm not trying to beat the manager, but if my daughter was a victim of a Predator like this lowlife scumbag. I would have so much anger for her bad judgement. I know that she didn't have to admit seeing what she did, I just can't get my head around the fact that she just went on her merry way. If they had driven into the parking lot, maybe Jessica could have been saved, then Rebecca would probably be still alive. I love how the narrator speaks in such an assuring way. Then adding his extra word's as he needs to. My heart goes out to the families of all of the victims of murderer's. God bless them all.

I think Willis's cousin, Kevin Bluhm, also played a horrible role here: Willis had told him about the murders and he even helped dispose of Jessica's body, but did not inform the police until his cousin had actually been caught? How many more murders would it have taken before he turned his cousin in? That's just so awful -- and hard to believe he was only sentenced to time served and probation.

Bluhm is my uncle through marriage (my dad's sister) and absolutely none of us were suprised by his involvement. He has always been a creep. The wild thing is that his wife and kids doubled down and refused to even entertain the idea that Kevin was involved. We think he picked out Rachel cause my cousin(Kevin's daughter) played on the same soccer team as Rachel's daughter. Coincidence? I think not. Kevin was the kind of prison guard that would make an inmate suck his dick for tampons. He always made gross comments to us girls throughout the years. To this day, his wife has stuck by his side.

@@KuroiErza the entire thing financially ruined my aunt. At one point she was working 3 jobs just to pay for her kid's basic needs and Kevin's lawyer fees. Kevin had been a prison guard for years and obviously lost that job forever. He has to be put in protective custody. We have no idea what lie he spun to his wife and kids to make them so dead set on his innocence. They will refuse to discuss it with any of us and get real nasty if it's brought up. Mad at us like we are the ones who put their family in that position. I can't believe his kids arnt angry at Kevin but get angry with us for asking valid questions. My aunt has always looked down her nose at everyone so I think she doubled down and stayed the "supportive Christian wife" to save face. The community made "your silence killed" banners and they were placed all over muskegon. Their neighbor had a huge sign put in their front yard that faced Kevin's house. It was awesome.

@@amberwilcox2416 The neigbours who did this are awesome. I'm sorry you have such a messed up aunt, uncle and cousins. There's nothing 'Christian' about Kevin's wife, or his kids. People who cannot do any meaningful self-analysis or accept reality are really worth avoiding. Please don't ever go anywhere near your Uncle. He's dangerous, lacking in morality, empathy, or any good character.
