He's a super cool guy. I remember some time in 2000, i saw the Annihilator web site, and send an email about some question. Jeff replied personal and we had a little dialog going. So down to earth and his guitar skills is out of this world.

Psh, the most modest badass around.... One of the nicest, genuine cats you'll ever meet in music. Crazy how he looks up to inferior guitarists.. A true monster of metal!

Exactly my thoughts. He is the prime example of a nice dude. He ranks right up there with Eddie and then some.

As a Canadian myself i love it how Jeff Waters is proud to be a Canadian & always introduces his band as hi we’re “Annihilator” from Canada. I thought it was funny at the “7:00” part of the video where Jeff Waters explains that when he was a youngster & no internet in which i can totally relate to & Waters explaining how he would have to line up outside & wait for his turn to go into the store to buy a guitar magazine in which there was a few to choose from such as,(Circus,Guitar World) Etc but as a bassist myself i’d also buy the latest bass guitar magazine which would feature some bassist(s) with certain tips & approaches to different types of bass playing & practice methods Etc. & i had a little ghetto blaster in my room & to learn certain songs i’d have to stop & rewind, play lol & rinse & repeat lol !!

It is so entertaining to listen to Jeff. Learned a lot about him from this video (thanks for posting). On March 24th, 2018 I attended a show with Testament, Annihilator and Lost Society in Moscow. I was a huge fan of Testament at that time. I liked Annihilator a bit and knew some songs but the main reason I went to the gig was Testament. The first band to perform was Lost Society and they were good: fast and aggressive playing (being young and stuff) but I didn't even sweat during their performance. There was a lack of something that is hard to describe. When Annihilator showed up, I was blown away. It was a completely different level. Jeff's music had something in it which was so catchy and groovy. I could feel that the old school metal guitar player was playing. Jeff was full of energy, running on the stage, making jokes, etc. Honestly, Annihilator performed so much better than Testament on that day. Don't get me wrong, Testament was amazing as well, but I felt like Annihilator should have been the headliners for that tour. I became a big fan ever since :)

That comment makes me think of that show i was going to but was cancelled in the last moment. The only chance i had to see them in this life. With this pandemic bs that probably won't end i am sure i will never have the chance to know that feeling you described

This is how every metal guitarist should be and to me Dime and Jeff W have it down right. Shredders yet humble enough to interact with your fans. Never seen him live but of geography but I’m keeping my fingers crossed he comes to Louisiana or close before it’s over. I was annilated by this video thanks🤘

Helluva guy, the secret about Jeff Waters and Annihilator if you didn't know it already was that he was Van Halen playing Thrash Metal!, and when he was in that zone he did it better than anyone!, great inspiration for a whole generation, not just as an artist but as a person also. Metal till the end.

I don't really even like Annihilator but Jeff's an insane guitarist, check out his solo on the RR united album :D
