The album this came from is PURE GENIUS. My favorite 70s album . If i were stranded on an island this is THE Album i would choose to listen to over and over.

My favorite ELO song. Saw them in Nashville in 2019, and when they started Turn to Stone, I don't think I ever yelled 'yeah!' so hard in my life. I was never one for singing around family, friends, or strangers, but that night I sang every song, I didn't care how I sounded, I just sang my heart out. I would see them again in a heart beat.

It was also my first concert so I was already a bit nervous about singing and possibly disturbing the people around me, but they were all singing so I joined in.

@Irish Viking "Tis blasphemy to "rank" on the Beatles, but yes, this live performance by Jeff Lynne & his current incarnation of ELO pretty much blows away anything by the Beatles. Perhaps if the Beatles had the myriad of back up musicians & vocalists (assuming they all had survived & performed live in their later years), it would have approached Mr. Lynne's production.

there is no science behind the government mandate wearing mask. Instead, I use common sense. As long nobody cough or sneeze on your face and stop touching your face nothing will happen. I do not remember when was the last time I have had the flu and never got Flu jab either; it is useless as COVID vaccine; either one do not protect you at all. Read and inform yourself out of the government guidance. Listen to doctors not politicians or public servants. I inform myself and take care of myself as everyone should do.

Love seeing a wide variety of ages in the crowd. Timeless band, timeless music, timeless fanbase.

Fantastic live performance. Sad we’ll never see anything even close to this talent again.

Absolute outstanding!! Why is this piece not even played on the radio! It is infinitely better than anything that is currently played. This is REAL music! Rousing and on the very highest level! The bad thing is that nowadays hardly anyone has an ear for the complexity and the musical demand of this music! It immediately pulls you along, you can not remain seated. I feel exactly as if I were in the audience! It's so nice to see people enjoying this music!

This concert is an incredible show. The soundquality, videoquality is amacing. And you can hear all the instruments, vocals and backgroundvocals so clear. And all that good music that I have listen to since I was very young. ELO's music will last forever. It's also very nice to see how much fun the audience have, dancing and singing along. I always get in good mood myself listening to ELO. I'm sure that the people that were in the audience, will remember the concert for the rest of their life 😊

As an old 70s rock chick, I'd say Jeff Lynne and ELO are still doing very nicely in the Noughties. Some old rockers are just fabulous ... Jeff is one. xx

I'm back in 1977 playing my Out Of the Blue album on my red Dansette record player. ELO have given me so many wonderful memories over the years. We are all so lucky to have Jeff Lynne in the world. He is an absolute genius and his music will live forever.

This Summer of 2019 i have seen Jeff Lynne's ELO, The Stones in Chicago and Paul McCartney in Vancouver...Jeff Lynne's ELO is the best live band in the world not even close...Best sound, musicians, vocals and visuals. Long live Jeff Lynne's ELO! You have to see this concert this Summer or in the near future...

The superb musicianship, arrangement and vocals, combined with the sheer joy of the crowd - and of course, the enigmatic Mr Jeff Lynne (why isn't he a Sir???). A heart-lifting, toe-tapping, feel-good (yet actually very sad) love song. Bloody brilliant ... 🇬🇧

You nailed it. ELO lover since 75...by far the most talented genius musician singer songwriter along with, of course, Brian Wilson. They both have a master ear and are creative geniuses that hear the arraignments in their minds. Phenomenal.

Jeff hired the genius music director Mike Stevens who pulled in some of the best musicians in the business that he was used to working with. Then he tirelessly rehearsed them to the point where they stack up very favorably with the greatest live bands ever. The players are studio session musician quality; tight, creative, flawless.

Jeff Lynne is a musical BLESSING, whom I am thankful that we still have on this Earth........actually, a project that I hope to pursue one day is an ELO tribute act.

This is absolutely amazing.

Listening to Jeff Lynne's ELO is just pure joy! Best Music Therapy in this world!

I love the roar when the baseline comes in, such a classic song! Also, Jeff looks exactly like he did circa 1976.

I was there and now on KZread I look at those in the audience who, like me all those years ago were youngsters enjoying ELO at various venues around the globe. We are all now getting on a bit and still enjoying ELO!!

When your music is better live than on your albums, it says a lot about the fantastic musicians in Jeff Lynne's ELO. Not many bands can do that.

I was there on the day and it was amazing. Every song sounded just like the recorded versions...incredible performance by all. We all went home very happy!!

OMG. He can still hit the high and low notes at age 70. I bet quite a few are able to do it like that after 40 years singing. This sounds even better than the record.
