Jeff Buckley-Live at Sin-e for WFMU
June 6, 1993, at Sin-e for "The Music Faucet" (📷 Merri Cyr). Yes, both songs are uploaded elsewhere, but I decided to put the whole thing together (Note: the version of "Lover" heard here, is the earliest available, and most likely the first time it was played publicly)🙂 If you're a Jeff fan please be sure to visit my blog: notwithyoubutofyou.blogspot.com/

What great vocal tone! And beautiful phrasing. R.I.P Jeff. You’re not forgotten.

You're welcome, I'm very glad you enjoyed it! 🙂

Mercedes Beene 🎉 for presenting this record.

Thank you for sharing this. I never saw him at Sin-e but was fortunate to see him a few times at Fez and then a bunch of times with the band. RIP Jeff.

You're welcome, and lucky you! What other shows did you see and do you have any souvenirs? If so, I'd love to see them!

@@mercedesbeene9536 I saw him at Fez, Under Acme, Roseland, Toad’s Place, St. Anne’s, Mercury Lounge on New Years Eve (but missed him at Sun-E right after), at Sony Studios, Maxwell’s, Tower Records, and probably others. He was amazing. He must have hated photographers, which was a real bummer, because even the cool venues hassled me at Buckley shows, so I rarely got any images. He was amazing tho.

@@mercedesbeene9536 It’s a pity those early shows could not have been filmed. Or his radio station appearances. I love the band too, but the early solo shows were next level.

@@douggottlieb I agree, so much greatness lost as a result...indeed, solo shows are very rare in audio and video, but luckily at least some exist, I've got a few solo ones 🙂 I've updated my reply so if you check it out, you'll see the links to the shows 🙂 here's my other Sin-e: kzread.info/dash/bejne/fmaC1NB7pNnZhps.html

You're welcome! Unfortunately so far the only thing from Ultrasound (Feb 94) I've seen are a few footage clips, but yes, hopefully someday something will surface! 🙏🏼🤞🏼
