After watching the hives from the front of the crowd I was stood next to the bassist and lead guitarist as they watched greenday play at Hyde park July 1st. Didn't want to bother them for an autograph cause I figure they're just there for the same thing as me, the music. This song is still amazing all these years later.

People draw influence from places completely separate to the music they play. What I’m trying to say is.. many of the bands you like probably love the music you’d hate ;) it’s ironic.

This little documentary has my one of my favorite "The Hives" moments, the 2nd Top of the pops performance, the song has all but finished and Pele announces that Britain is gonna rethink the monarchy cos the new kings are in town! Perfection!!

One of, if not THE best band to see play live.

If not one of the greatest rock songs ever, certainly one of the greatest rock songs of the 21st century, no doubt!!! Love these guys! Love this song!

I absolutely love this! It’s informative and fucking hysterical at the same time. Johnny Boy and the Pop Machine!! 😂 🤣 😆 I was laughing so hard I had snot coming out my nose, and believe me, to admit that publicly it must’ve been funny as hell‼️

Man!!!!! Just had some cool flashbacks ....being 17 and listening to this song (new and unheard of) on some crappy t.v channel, on random Saturday nights with nothing to do. Then shortly afterwards you guys were on tour with The International Noise Conspiracy. So I got some tickets and saw you guys at the Roxy in Los Angeles. Oh memories.

What an idyllic paradise. It looks like the kind of place where the ONLY people that would ever want to leave were kids who grew up there that were profoundly bored or dirt poor.

The problem with all these places in the middle and north of Sweden is the lack of job opportunities, and that they simply aren't exciting places for teenagers, and don't offer many opportunities for young adults. The towns were built almost exclusively on heavy industry - ore, metal works, lumber, saw mills, paper mills. The mills and factories were shut down one by one starting from the 70s, and the ones that are still in operation have far fewer human employees than in the past. At this point in time most of these towns seem to mainly consist of retirees and asylum seekers/newly arrived immigrants. And once the immigrants gain permanent residency they tend to move into the cities, as do many of the kids who grow up there. It's true they are surrounded by great nature though. Anyone who is into lakes and forests won't be bored.

Hardly survived their show at the Highfield Festival. 45min VOLLGAS!

I remember when I first heard HTSITYS I thought, hey, this is like the rolling stones, but it's new it's fresh, but it has aretro vibe to it... well, people always cite the strokes as the first band to come up with the rock n' roll revival (and also bands with names starting with "the", sun 41 even made a joke video where they parody themselves as 'the suns' or something, but THE WHITE STRIPES was actually the first to come with a revival and it was based on the rawest sound possible. But I digress, the hives, to me, personally, always reminded me of Rolling Stones, even the frontman moves like Jagger on stage. I found wholesome to hear about their new album now more than 20 years later. Even though that trend they were part of is long gone and rock music in general is a retro thing now, they still pulled out something awsome.
