Back for a second listen. Two of my all-time favorites. They're both wizards at on their instruments. Jimmy Page said that Jeff's guitar had notes his own guitar didn't have. High praise from one of the best. I still can't believe Jeff is gone. I only wish that I could have seen them live. RIP Jeff Beck, I (and many others) will miss you and your ability to amaze.

Title is wrong, "Lopsy Lu" is a song by Stanley Clarke! Anyway, props to Jeff, he held his own and even pushed it to a higher level. Great to see these 2 true musicians collaborating and even putting in Jimi Hendrix's song "Third Rock from The Sun" at around 4:27 for a few seconds, Stanley starts the bassline and Jeff picks up on it almost instantly, very nice! Here is the part in the Hendrix original for comparison if ya missed it: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mmGGyZd_d9aTado.html ... You're welcome ;-)

I noticed everything you have pointed out and was going to comment the same information. The third rock from the sun riff there was cool. They are both Hendrix fans obviously. I actually like the Stanley Clarke and Chic Correa live version but this is very good. The album version could of had better guitar imo probably should have just had Beck do it from the start lol

Randy Hope-Taylor. He was also in the Jen Batten lineup. When he couldn't do a Jeff tour because of commitments to Incognito, that opened up the opportunity for Tal Wilkenfeld. Hope-Taylor is a seriously fine player, as you likely notice here.
