I'm 61, I was fortunate to have been able to see Jeff and most of the greats from the 60's and 70's the best era of music ever and JB was one of the best. I'm still going to see as many of them as I can, last I saw Jeff Beck was about 10 years ago. I hope in 100 years they will look back on this era of music with the same awe and admiration as those of us who lived through it do today!

The future will have no choice but to look back and remember it, because, not only was it that period's best music, it was also the music that changed the world for the better. Rock will always be king. It may change forms but it will still always uphold the same fundamental principles as all of it's prior incarnations, namely 'rebellion' against 'the man'. SMIB

This touches me very much. He was so on top of his game ... amazing in every way. I can't believe he passed away just a few months after. He must be the most articulate guitar player ever or at least all the way up there. There is so much nuance in every note. The way he uses the volume and the whammy bar, vibrato and finger attack is so unbelievably unique. That is true and unsurpassed mastery. Virtuosity is not defined by notes per second - he was a real virtuoso.

I’m a little lost for words right now. This one has hit me hard. Jeff was to me the ideal musician archetype. He was someone who always pushed himself to try new musical ideas, never resting on his laurels, and constantly evolving. It’s incredible to think about how much he evolved from the time of “blow by blow “through “live at Ronnie Scott’s “and then beyond as evidenced from this 2022 performance. And he was always fresh, a musician who truly demonstrated what it means to emote on an instrument. The nuance, the touch, the ability to do things that most of us fine impossible. Pure aboration for me personally…. Right up there with Charlie CHRISTIAN and Hendrix in terms of how much he changed the way us guitarists think about musical possibilities. He lived a much longer life than those other players, but still this happened far too soon. I was going to see him in Toronto this past October, but circumstances made it impossible for me to go. I regret that one now big-time. At least the music will live on forever and continue to inspire. RIP guitar slinger

He still was playing full sets live standing up like he was in his 20s. It was like he was ageless. His music is ageless, and timeless. Not only was Jeff Beck an incredible talent on guitar but, I've often wondered how his innovative style enhanced the playing styles of bassists and drummers. For example, when you see people like Tal Wilkenfeld and Vinnie Colaiuta play with Beck, you can see and hear the music in a whole different direction. I'm so sad and yet happy to have been living in the same time as these wonderful people.

Of all the guitar heroes of the 60s, he is undoubtedly the one who has best preserved his skills, in this concert I think he plays the same or better than when he was 30 years old. Rest in peace. Jeff will always be known as a contributor and a big supporter of women in Rick and roll. Since the seventies he has included in his band playing on stage some of the outstanding female musicians backing him on bass, guitar, and drums. Tai wilkenfeld is an absolute star on bass. Another feather in beck's contribution to music. His unique style is one of a kind. It's a trajedy we lose such great musicians every year that have passed on.
