I just listened to Jeff Jimmy Page Joe Perry Flea w/Metallica doing train kept a Rollin and I was literally brought to tears. It was so powerful and moving and amazing that I just couldn't contain myself.. To much emotion!!
Jeff literally gave voice to the electric guitar. He channels such emotion. I loved him his whole career, and can't believe he is not with us.

Jeff did not simply play the guitar. He commanded it, he controlled it, he made it do the impossible. He mastered it like no other. He was second to none. He was humble, polite, appreciative. He had a unique and a spiritual special gift. No other comes close to achieving all that he did and gaining the respect he so deserved .

No other guitarist has ever come close to Jeff Beck. A stand alone virtuoso with magic in his fingers and heart
Very beautiful music by the incomparable Jeff Beck who can make a Guitar sing. He is the Maestro of the Guitar
The one and only guitar player. He is the greatest player to explore all the possibilities that the electric guitar could hold, and a pioneer of astonishing virtuosity. My life has been with his innovative music for nearly a half-century. Deepest salute to him. Overflowing with love and gratitude for him. So lonely and my heart is crushed. I don't know what to do. Miss you , Jeff… I have nothing but gratitude for him. Love you Jeff..
One of the most amazing things about Jeff Beck, besides his amazing skill, musicianship, use of dynamics, etc. is his gorgeous, soaring tone. No one makes a guitar sing like he does!

@@MrSlytux At School, Jeff Beck wanted to get a guitar, and he came in at age 14 with some bits of wood and some wire from who knows where? He was a year older than the rest of the class, because his mother wanted him to stay a bit longer in school. She was a trained pianist and did not want him to play "Pop" music! It was lunch time and Jeff strode in to the back of the room, and sat on the floor of the Art Teachers store room and fiddled with the stuff he had brought in. We did not know him very well at this stage, so he was an enigma, and the age difference also was to be considered. The class was in awe of him because he was a year older than we were, and soon the boys who knew him best passed the message to the rest of the class that Jeff was trying to make a guitar! He longed for a guitar and was to see a TV programme of Les Paul, and knew that was the guitar he really wanted. In the mean time he was trying to make his own! Suddenly we heard some blues notes come from the store room. No one could understand how he had made those sounds, as in 1958 there were no miniature radios around to sell to the public!! I immediately thought, that he was bound to become renowned for his guitar playing, once he actually got one, and looked for signs of him in the news from then on. Of course he joined the Yardbirds and became famous! His playing is different to anyone else, because of some knowledge given to him by his mother and father and one uncle, about all kinds of music, including Indian music. Cynthia Allen-McLaglen

It's all true what people say about Beck's musicianship. But, no one talks about the elephant in the room; Beck, when he plays, is the iconic guitar player that everyone wishes they could look like. He's just "it". Aside the music, he's just a gorgeous, beautiful, iconic masterpiece of guitar god beauty in physical form. He and Hendrix will probably the representation of the guitar player, of today, 2000 years from now just as Michelangelo's Adam is as today.

Jeff Beck is inimitable by virtue not only of his unique playing, finger picking and using the volume control (I wonder how many of those he wears out?) but through his ideas, expressive musicality and wonderful modesty, politesse and consideration for fellow musicians. If you add that he translates all this into a magical potion of great beauty you can see how he eclipses many who are famed but become so dull when compared to his bright light.

Jeff Beck has the sensitivity & hearing awareness of a top classical musician-evidenced here with his instrument’s relative volume to the orchestra, on the fly-(those volume swells require him to continually monitor the overall balance of the presentation-And he does this effortlessly; A consummate professional Such lyrical playing with emotion! What's wrong with the British public, we have in Jeff Beck the most accomplished guitar player we have had the fortune to be born in England, he is withoug a shadow of doubt the supreme player of his entire generation. So why is it that he has never received the true accolade he deserves from his countrymen and women. When today legend and icon are bandered around for god sake give this man the credit he is richley deserved, he may well tell you to stick his knighthood , knowing his humour he probably will, but at least give him the opportunity to get something he so deserves.

You could probably count on the fingers of one hand the number of electric guitar soloists who have been invited to play live with classical symphony orchestras. There were probably some members of the orchestra, and the audience as well, who were skeptical about Jeff being invited to this tribute to Pavarotti, but Beck probably won them over with his graceful yet powerful interpretation. If you search "Jeff Beck plays Puccini with orchestra," you'll find that he has performed Nessun Dorma (and a number of other classical compositions) live with a number of international orchestras. Right after he plays Nessun Dorma, he wants to get offstage, but they bring him back. Such a humble person! And I agree with the general observations below about Beck's style and ability.... one of a kind.
He made his mother very proud when he played Neesun Dorma in the Royal Albert theater. There is only "one" Jeff Beck.
the best ever .....PERFECTION .
Guitar Mastery in every sense of the word. That's how I can display Jeff Beck.

Amazing. Does Jeff Beck really exists or am, I dreaming? This is what you can call perfection. Never too loud, always with the right tone in the right moment, such a humble person despite his greatness. Zucchero's Dunne mosse is a great song while Lucio Dall's Caruso is a masterpiece of the italian music, with Jeff Beck the orchestra and Zuccherro's voice really an awesome performance.
