My friend and i install the same bumper on his xj and it is awesome the only problem we have was the locking system you can see his xj on our little chanel call desvio offroad. Good job guys on the install.

Can you tell me what Jerry can will fit this bumper?

Since I’m running jk wheels with a 5.5 bolt pattern could I press those wheel studs in? Or will I need to use a adapter

Hi Morgan, Yes the spare tire carrier has serveral different bolt patterns options that allow for 5x4 or 5x5 wheel bolt patterns that you can press the wheel stud in.

Really wish this would work for my ZJ

Did this install lower the jeep? I installed one on mine and the weight brought it down about 2-3 inches.

Depending on the rear spring rate, it could lower the right height. In our case it did drop the XJ about in inch… we used rubicon Express lift. Thanks for watching and don’t forget to subscribe…

My latch keeps poping open when I drive. Do you have a fix for this? It clicks into place, but after a few min it opens again. Not sure why it does this.

Do you think you could put a tire brake light ring on the carrier like a jk?

Probably, by making a bracket.

Nice job. What did you use for a cb antenna and where did you run your cable for it. Looking to do the same, and there is absolutely nothing out there showing how to do that.

Thanks.... We ran the CB coax cable out down by the passenger tail light and strapped down to the bottom of the tire carrier, then running up in the middle of the rack and attacheched it to the CB Antenna. We used black wire loom and zip ties with the round screw holes, used sheet metal screws to secure the cable to the rack. came out great..

@@5150MotorSports Between this one and the EAG, which one do you feel had the better fit and was better quality? I mean as far as all the holes lining up and the hinge, latch pin, latch release and coating?
