Yes , I have the 4.0 and been down this 3 times. . Here's a quick rundown of my rig. 4.5in lift that settled to exactly 4 inches. I'm on 33 inch tires , D30 axle ( sleeved -trussed - 4.56- Powertrax grip pro LSD - Nitro brand replacement axle shafts,- hd ball joints) iron rock link long arms f+r , tank tuck. Lots of metal cutting in the front wheel wells for flex , Bilstein shocks . 12o'clock labs universal speedo recalibration unit. It's all about matching your gears to your tire size . Take the tire size you want divided by the tire that Originally came on it x the original axle gear ratio . I chose 4.56 for 33's because i take a lot of stuff with me.

Hi! Parts list is pretty simple… If Iron Rock Off Road makes it for the WJ, it’s on this WJ 😆 Tires and rims I found on Craigslist. They were off a JK. 35’s on 17 inch rims. I put an Aussie locker in the rear. Axels and gearing are stock otherwise. I added some limit straps to the front to keep the springs from coming out. Roof rack is from Goliath off road. That’s pretty much it!

Good lines 👌 nice Rig
Anyone with a 4.0L WJ try that same run? Think it's possible? Genuinely curious. Love my 4.0L, but I'd do a swap to a HO to run lines like that. Shout out to the spotter on that trip.

Awesome runs. Curious what suspension you are using. Looking to have my 03 fitted with 4in.

Iron Rock 6” Long Arm Kit

If you still haven't lifted it and want too I second that Iron Rock long arm lift. I had it on my 02 WJ and loved it. I'm not condoning jumping it but I was only 18 at the time and had it off the ground once or twice and it held up. Very well made life kit.

I can't say it's the best or the smoothest, but like I said for me it held up through a lot of abuse.

We have driven it thousands of miles on road. It is not a ton of fun to drive but it rides really well. No tank tuck. I have 1-ton steering going on over the Christmas break. I am expecting it to handle a bit better. I have both sway bars connected when driving on the road.
