I met Jeanne Cooper 17 years ago. I had about 15 minutes with her. She wanted to bring me back to California with her. I got my picture taken with her. A wonderful highlight in my life. God Bless her. She was exactly like we see on the YR. Very gracious and lovely. I love how they still make reference to her in the show. RIP Duchess from a proud Canadian fan forever. 🇨🇦🌟🌈🦋🌹🙏😇

I have a friend who is a makeup artist and he worked with her one day, I was hospitalized and feeling HORRIBLE. He told her how much I loved the show and her character, she actually called me, of course I thought it was a joke, but I knew that voice anywhere. She wished me a speedy recovery and Thanked me for being a longtime fan. I was so very EXCITED that she took time to send me words of good health and INSPIRATION. She also gave him a wonderful photo of the photo shoot they took and signed it, with lovely words of Encouragement. She was definitely a Beautiful woman and a CLASSIC WOMAN.

She was all of what you say Cherisse and then some. I met her 17 years ago. She was the best. I sent her a letter after they televised her facelift. She sent me a picture of her with the bandages on. When I told her she said(in that whiskey and cigarettes voice)"You better hang onto that honey, I only sent out 100 of them". A definite thrill of a lifetime. God Bless Jeanne Cooper. I have always loved Jeanne Cooper. She was the grande dame of The Young and the Restless as Catherine Chancellor. I'm 59 years old now and have been watching her since I was 12. I truly miss her character and always look for any and all episodes that she stars in.

Even after all this time, I still miss her like crazy.. She was a wonderful actress and played her parts so well.. I myself think of her as the Queen of any of the day time drama's and or soaps!! RIH Jeanne Cooper!!

I can’t believe it’s been 7 years ago that Jeanne Cooper passed away. She was “The Young And The Restless”. Katherine was the force but gave stability to the show. She was BRILLIANT! She had to give 200% in her appearances as it showed! I stopped watching Y&R years ago but the memories are wonderful. She was good in the roller derby movie with Raquel Welsh also. I miss Jeanne! My deepest sympathy to her family.

Ty for liking my posting truth is I used to watch the young and restless than my mom died in 2013 we lost cable I stopped watching but I will always remember Jeanne Cooper

I watched Y&R since 1972 and remember most of Jeanne's Mrs. Chancellor roles! She really poured herself into character and I loved her ability to reach us the audience. She will be greatly missed and always remembered. Rest in peace Mrs. Jeanne Cooper!

Watched Y and R since it first aired and always loved her character even when at times she was not the nicest. Such a classy lady so sorry she is gone but we had many years of her entertaining us. RIP Jeanne

As they used to say way back in the day in her youth Jeanne Cooper was Quite a dish. She then matured to a more serious beautiful actress and in the end played the Grand Damme of Genoa City Katherine Dutchess Chandler. She played it with the grace and poise only she could pull off and played it superbly. I was always fond of her pairing with Brenda Dickerson the first Jill. Mr. Chandler was hot too. Also miss the first Jack played by Terry Lester. At any rate rest in peace you beautiful talented lady.

Jeanne was such a beautiful lady not only on the outside, but also on the inside. Loved growing up watching her on the Young and the Restless! What a nice tribute to her! still miss her

I agree with that, I still miss her, I've been watching Y and R for so long it's like she's a family member. In fact I would appreciate if Y and R would add her into the show more, once or twice a month show where characters are thinking and talking about her, same with Neil, hope there writing him out, no one can replace him but he is Lilly's father, so they got to talk about him.

She was my actress on Y & R. Since she passed away something is missing in this soap opera. I have never felt this way for any other character on any soap or night time show before. Jeanne Cooper herself was quite a caharacter. I have a couple of autographed pictures of her that I treasure.

My mother loved this show and even watched it as she was dying. Mom died ten years before Jeanne Cooper.😢😢

truely a sweet lady ...i use to play hookie from school so i could watch the young and the restless katherine ...jeane cooper was my favorite charactor she was tough and took no mess off anyone ...i loved her raspy voice and seemingly wisdom she made you think she was really that character ... i hated school anyway lol... but she was truely inspiring to me
