I lived in Gary Cooper's hometown of Helena, Montana, for 15 years. I used to drive by the home he was born in. His parents were both English, his father was an attorney who shared a law practice with another English man, and his sister was Gary Cooper's mother. She met her husband when she came to visit her brother. His father served on the Montana Supreme Court. He knew Myrna Loy as well, before either of them went to Hollywood.. She is buried in Helena, Montana, wanting to be buried in Helena, Montana which the rest of her family (her real last name was Williams).
